I've been with my boyfriend for just over 2 years and for quite a while (say more than 6 months) I have felt that I'm making all the effort. Anyway, this half term I've been getting really irritated with my boyfriend for reasons which he thinks are silly and pathetic.
Some examples:
1: I had stayed at his house one night and was to meet him later in the day, so I thought it made sense to stay at his house that day since I was already there - but my boyfriend called his friend in front of me, even though he knew I wasn't impressed with it, and asked his friend to come round so I had to leave.
2: He had all his friends round one night and ignored his house phone calls from me and when I got through to him on his friends mobile phone he told me it was too noisy (it didn't sound noisy).
3. He was supposed to be going to the cinema with me but then said he wanted to go with his friends but I hate being the only girl, so he went with them instead of me.

Am i being really picky?

Why do people depend on sex so much to solve problems in the marriage? How could a couple limit their dependancy on sex to solve problems in their marriage?

I have seen in my own life and it seems apparent in the lives of so many that sex did not completely resolve all problems in marriage. However, sex does help two people to get used to each other so much so that when they start getting old and grey they may remain attached to each other.

What are some ideas or thoughts you might have on this?

I didn't mean to.We are good friends and get on so well together.I thought the flirting was just fun, I should have known. He asked me to marry him and like the awful person I am I laughed at him!!!!!!!!!
I really honestly and seriously thought he was joking!
And now I feel so terrible. I don't know what to do to make things right. I don't want to lose him as a friend. And if things aren't bad enough he is dealing with a serious illness in the family, and going through a bad time.
How can I make things right and go back to being the good friends we were without it being awkward?

So I have been with this girl for 5 years. We broke up for a year and have only done long distance. I love in LA and she lives in Boston and she has given me a deadline of April 1 to get enagaged or she is leaving. I told her that I need to live in the same city with her for just a bit to make sure it works and then I would propose. She isn't budging and refuses to come out here without a ring. I am a big believer in living together first, or at least in the same city for a while! I promised her it would happen this year if she moved out here. She won't budge. What can I do??

My 19 year-old sister was recently kicked out of my house because she couldn't keep up with her bills and was constantly into trouble. Now she has my husband's car because he agreed that she could use it as long as she pays the car insurance for it. The problem, you ask? She only wants to pay for half of it because he has been in to accidents over the past 5 years. We're only asking for $115. I only pay 88 for my car, so why should she determine how much she pays if we're being this generous to her? Everytime I broach the subject, she goes balistic. As if I have any right to the subject. To make matters worse, my husband is deployed and cannot deal with the issue directly. Only through me. He says that if she can't pay the car insurance, then get the car back. But she refuses to do so. What do I do?

I never believed in astrology until I met my Aries man. He's a book definition of his sign. I'm a Libra woman... somewhat similar to my sign. While we were dating n engaged, our relationship seemed to be made in heaven. The conflits started soon after we married. We love each other a lot and despite of our fights I want to be with him. I know life is not meant to spend over someone who's not meant to b for you. However, I've a strong feeling that if I handle this intial period of our marriage our relation could be endless. Is anyone out there an Aries man or have an Aries man? Please list out on dos and donts, likes and dislikes of Aries. How to behave when an Aries is upset? How to cheer him up? How to talk to him when he the most untalkative person in the world? How to tell him when he is wrong? How to bring him to listen? I know they are supposed to be like a child interms of selfishness and brutality too that loves fight. But how to explain him Libra is calm and hate fights

I was dating this guy for about 3 months…nothing serious just having fun. We decided that we would just be friends. He said he still wanted to hang out. I said fine…I could care less. But he calls like once a month and I don’t here from him. Hes like we need to hang out, and I say I will meet up with you for dinner or something then he says he is too busy…it’s just strange, he does this everytime he calls its getting annyoing. I do not like him like that at all, and I do not call him. He calls me…..or emails and I will respond. It seems to me most guys either cut you dry or they want to remain friends for other reasons, again I dont know what he doing. It could be nothing..........suggestions

Here is my problem...a good guy friend of mine (and childhood friend of the groom) has a wife who had me in their wedding. Now it is time for us to get married and I am not too thrilled about having to ask her to be in the wedding because her and I are not that close. We hang out with them quite a bit, but her and I don't really have a close connection. The reason why we are not so close is because she tends make everything about her. She doesn't really treat me like a friend, more like a competitor. Anyway, my dilemma is if I don't ask her, I know she will be hurt and so will her husband, who is my friend as well as my fiance's. If I do ask her, I have to put up with her half-a$$ed help and talking about herself and what she did at her wedding the entire time, comparing hers with mine in a negative way. What should I do! I know we will be friends with them forever because of him, so I really don't want to offend them over one day. Help!

I recently moved and have new friends my best friend here is a guy and I think that I am slowly developing feelings for him. Should I still go for the guy I've known forever or is it ok to go for someone else? (my guy that I've known forever is long distance though)

My husband is chemically dependent and I had to leave him. We have only been married since June '06. He is in the army & we have a one year old daughter. He is set to deploy April 15th, right now he is in Washington and my daughter and I are in Iowa. He will only be in Iowa for a week of leave in March, if any paperwork needs to be taken care of. I want sole custody of our daughter, he has made very poor choices and does not know how to care for her basic needs, even. How hard will it be to get a separation or divorce finalized if he will not agree to me having sole custody (I will never budge on that, he has only been in her life since she was 4 months old because he was too busy doing drugs and partying during my pregnancy and first months of her life)? I want to go speak with an attourney as early as next week about all this, but any info you can give me will be helpful.

So he loves to take showers. He takes one in the morning and one in the evening. He likes LOOONG showers, he likes to sit and think in there. He has been this way since I met him. Only problem now is that I never get to take a warm shower anymore. Our water gets cold for several hours and I end up getting ready for the day feeling greasy and irritated. I have errands to run and children to care for. He is off to work and I haven't showered in a week. I tried telling him to take one fast shower and one long shower...but he can't. He thinks 25 mins is a quick shower. I have tried to talk to him nicely, I know he loves his shower time. But I can't go on like this. I would like to feel free to get clean in warm water when I like to...I don't know how else to approach him. Maybe I could take showers when my kids are napping...but they rarely nap at the same time...do I have to go to the gym to shower? Do I have to hire a babysitter to get a warm shower midday once the water is warm again?

I met someone online (dating site) and exchanged some emails back and forth. We seem to click, but after a few emails he sent me his pic and I just don't see it happening. He isn't in very good shape, and not physically attractive to me. How do I tell him without seeming shallow or hurting his feelings?

I have 5 bridesmaids. One is 25, others are 17, 14, 10 and 7. So I was thinking, as I was trying to save a lot of money, whether it would be a lot cheaper to hire all of the dresses rather than have them made or brought. Plus, it is the typ eof dress I know that will never be worn again, and I don't want to waste money. x

Looking for instructions...maybe a website. Just bought feathers and vases and want to ensure that they are done correctly. Help...
I heard of foam inserts - are they necessary? How do you ensure that the centerpieces do not tip over?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

If I was going to tell you the whole story then you would be reading this for ages, so to cut a long story short, my boyfriend has no respect for me what so ever and not only that but he never touches me anymore and I feel stupid and ugly because of his put downs. I have decided to move out but I don't know if I should keep our relationship and tell him to move back in with his parents or to move out and start off fresh? And how would I tell him?
