Here is the real deal. In most states in the US, the legal age of consent is between 15 and 16. Once the person is that age, it does not matter how old the other person is, provided they are also above the age of consent. Age of Consent meant that you are old enough, in the eyes of the law, to make the decision of whether you are ready or not. There is no year range, and there is no law in the country that restricts it to over 16.

Depends on the state, In most states it is officially LEGAL for a person to have sex at 16 but only with other 16-17 yr olds. Once a person reaches the age of 18, you are only legally allowed to have sex with 18+ yrs old.

Legal age to have sex in the US is 18. Anyone younger than that is just setting themselves up for trouble. Wait to have sex, you probably have a long life ahead of you. Remember, you are only a child from birth to 18 years and then you are an adult from 18 until your death. Alot more years being an adult.

18 in California...but a woman can choose as soon as 16 but if it is with a guy that is over 18 statutory rape can be implemented by the minors parents if they so desire until she is of age 17 1/2 or emancipated.

I am sorry you have to ask that question....the legal age is 18 in the U.S. Anything under that is considered child molestation for a reason, because you are not considered an adult until 18.
