My boyfriend of 10 years..I know this might sound crazy..But..He is always controlling my every move..We have been in a relationship off and on for 10 years..We have a 6 year old daughter together..and the very reason why we are not married because of his controlling ways..He is always wondering were I'm at and calling too much telling what to do and what not to do..Bascially trying to contol my life..We don't fight but we argue alot..He never cheated nither have I..We live in seperate house's..He have his own place and I have mine..He want us to move in together but I just can't because of his controlling ways..I'm finally want to end this and move on but I want because of our daughter..He is the type that will not be in his daughter life if we are not together..She loves him dearly..I know he will leave her if were not together because he done it before..The story goes on but I'm going to end it here..What should I do? Should I leave him once and for all.

could this be another sad day? will it be worse than yesterday?

I met a girl about a year ago and I told her a silly lie.we both fell in love and are now engeged to get married but I still havent told her the truth because im worried that it will end our relationship. So i just recently moved away from my hometown in January. I used to be really close with my 3 girl friends and now only talk to ONE of them, we were all really close and talked ALL the time. I made an effort in the beginning to keep in touch with them...I was having a hard time dealing with not being there and I would call them and talk to them about it, they didnt really have to much to say...but i guess what is there to say right??? Then after that I barely received any phone calls or anything from the two so I just kinda got the impression that they are only interested in the friends that they have near by....Am I wrong for not putting more of an effort or should I be thinking that they are not REAL friends???

My best friend(girl) says I should stop talking to my best friend (guy) because I'm now in a relationship...

1. she doesn't like my bf because apparently he was 'mean' to her... when she was the 1 tht slapped him every 5mins 4 nothing the 1st time she saw him...

2. Since she's 1 of my friends she knows that i always tel them how i feel about them like 'aww i love u!!'... she feels tht its wrong to say it 2 my guy friends when she does it herself

A jewel box of obsidian holds God's brightest star of light,
But on this Earth, all hope for her to shine on me is gone.
In time that I might see such light in lives on worlds beyond,
A million suns would flare to life, then fade to endless night.


There IS a reference to her skin color there. I don't think I could ever say it in a better way: it's beautiful, yet explicitly external and secondary -- it holds a bright star, which is her soul.

I know SHE won't be angry, because she grew up in Africa and she doesn't have all the cultural baggage we have on THIS continent.
Just wondered how the rest of you would feel.


(Please don't think the "star" part is racist -- if you took it that way, then do realize that it would have to be an Asian supremacist poem, because our sun happens to be yellowish and not totally white. And please don't lecture me on how obsidian is "too" dark: you haven't seen HER!)

My ex-boyfriend came over this morning, walked into my home, I had just gotten home and didn't lock the door behind me. My fiancee is very conservative and private. He is in Iraq. My ex-boyfriend held me down, bruising me and sexually assaulted me. He was here for 2 hours and would not leave or leave me alone. My friend called the police when I acted like I was looking for a number for a job for him (my ex) and texted her "911". I don't want to cause my fiancee worry, since there is nothing he could do from overseas. He left before the police showed up and was totally drunk. I am happily married and have been for 15 years took pity on a guy where i worked and befriended him cause he has no friends,ten years older then us so thought he seemed safe enough plus he stills lives with his mum.Recently though he has said i look gorgeous and he happened to have 2 tickets to sugerbabes concert would i like to go with him his treat i could be wrong but thought that sounded more like a date.He has met my husband and daughters cause only time i see him is around my family didn't want to give him wrong impression.
