I have been dating this guy for 2.5 years... we've been through everything together and love each other a lot, but I'll be honest, I've added some drama to the mix. He says he is tired of my jealousy (I've been cheated on in the past, not by him) and that I should take some time to grow and come back to him when I get myself together.

He has told me he wants to see other people (when/if there is someone that interests him), but he still wants to hang out and be friends with me because he has a lot of fun spending time with me and loves me too much to not have me in his life. He keeps saying it isn't over, but I don't know how I would be friends with him though- I think it would hurt too much. Has this ever worked out for anyone? Can you go from exclusive to just "dating" again? I acknowledge his constructive criticism.. I know I need to work on me... do you think this is just a nice way of him breaking up with me, or is it in a way his inability to move on without letting go?

I met this girl at a bar a while back, from what I thought she was completely "out of my league" but I bit the bullet and asked her out anyway. She very enthousiastically agreed gave me her number and we planned a date for the following Friday night. Throughout the week (leading up to the Friday) she called me a few times and sent me a few text messages.

From my point of view we really hit it off on the date, I took her out to a nice restaurant, we had a great conversation, I was at the top of my game. Afterwards we went back to my place and talked until 5:00 am, and she wound up staying over.

We met several times afterwards then suddenly she got busy, and I haven't seen her since. She keeps telling me to call to make plans, but she's always busy and never returns calls anymore. I told her to phone me when she has time, and I've heard nothing yet.

What happened? Should I try to call her again or leave it up to her now?

okay so my best friends sister is getting married...Her sister told her that the only reason she chose her as the maid of honor is because it was to hard to choose between her friends...Should I say something to my friend or should I just leave it alone...My friend I dont think really understands exactly what happened but I think that her sister was being rude...Should I just stay away from there buisness and get over it...? or should I tell my friend how rude I think it was...? please help thanks

This girl has been only a chat/text buddy for 6 years and has made it relatively clear she's not coming back. How do I make him figure this out. He is missing out on so much by waiting for a dream that isn't going to come true. Is it possible he will never let someone else into his heart? She told me on the phone last night and it kind of sent me for a spin. I didnt expect this because she knew my background showing that I dont share the same view. I dont have a problem with her view, except for the fact that its not only "it" but everything else in between that she wants to wait for. It's very different for me because ive never been with anyone like this before, and every other girl ive seriously dated has almost pressured ME into these things, and its just what ive gotten used to doing them. I also beleive that sex is an important part to a relationship, that it creates a strong bond between the couple that is important.its definately not THE most important thing, but i think that as time passes a relationship should progress mentaly, emotionally, AND physically. I definately value the mental and emotional parts far more than the physical, but i still think the physical parts are important. 2 questions. Shouldn't she have told me this earlier? and WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!

when i got married my husband assured me and my faimly that money would never be an issue and he would take care of me and my daughter, we decided to rent a house instead of buying because i wanted to move back to TN. i had no reason to doubt him untill yesterday, i awoke to a eviction notice on my front door, when i called him he told me it was not ours and it had to be a misunderstanding, so i called the landlord, he has not paid any rent since dec. and it was no mistake. I am so upset that i have packed all of my things and i am ready to leave him, this is a devistating blow to me i had no idea.

My ex-boyfren backstabbed me to one of my friends. My ex told her all sorts of unkind things about me and all my mistakes to my friend. As for me, my ex told me that my friend said that I don't deserve him and asked him to leave me. This incident happened when we were still a couple. Because of this, I started hating my friend because of what my ex told me and avoided her as much as possible.

I found out about the backstabbed two days ago after I confronted my friend after we had lunch together. She was the one who wanted to see me. She was shocked to hear what I said. She told me that she sweared she never said anything like that and it was my ex who is always bringing up topic about me and said all those unkind words. She knew something was wrong when I don't call her anymore or speak to her that's why she insisted to meet up for lunch.

I am so confused now. Why did my ex do such a thing to me?

If a guy's "thing" goes up while you're with him, he likes you. Because, this is what happened to me:

I ask my hot friend who i secretely have a crush on.. (best friends) to sit next to me cuz, his buddies never let him sit by me, and he does sit next to me. I live in a building with lots of senior citizens. Both men and women (not all) say that their spouses had affairs but they saw it as a stage and they stayed together. Also, they didn't discuss it or make threats. Both men and women usually acted as if he or she didn't know. Where he or she obviously did know, they went on with their lives. In some cases, the person did leave but it wasn't the norm as it is now.

he doesnt tell me he loves me anymore, and when I tell him I love him he seems to ignore it! I think i know in my heart that he doesnt. its a long distance relationship. When a person leaves a spouse, children, everything they built with the spouse, their financial security, their self-respect, their friends, etc. because they decide they are no longer happy with their marriage - and they chose to be with the person they had an affair with - will they find the happiness they were looking for? Do they ever look back at their married life (one with no abuse - but one in which things got boring) and wish they would have done things differently? Worked a little harder? I am just trying to understand how a person who walks away from everyone and everything they know - including children - come to terms with what they have done or how they can look at their new life and say - okay now I am happy. What makes them happy??
