I met this girl at a bar a while back, from what I thought she was completely "out of my league" but I bit the bullet and asked her out anyway. She very enthousiastically agreed gave me her number and we planned a date for the following Friday night. Throughout the week (leading up to the Friday) she called me a few times and sent me a few text messages.

From my point of view we really hit it off on the date, I took her out to a nice restaurant, we had a great conversation, I was at the top of my game. Afterwards we went back to my place and talked until 5:00 am, and she wound up staying over.

We met several times afterwards then suddenly she got busy, and I haven't seen her since. She keeps telling me to call to make plans, but she's always busy and never returns calls anymore. I told her to phone me when she has time, and I've heard nothing yet.

What happened? Should I try to call her again or leave it up to her now?

Sounds like she got bored. She probably met someone else, but isn't sure what's going on so she's keeping you in the loop for "just in case". Obviously, she likes you but she's not "into" you.

Well, a lot of people do this because they are too nervous, or don't really want to do anything with you. she could have had a serious problem, and you were the one she took it out on. But, she could also be nervous or something.. I don't know but from what I'm hearing she doesn't really want you. Sorry buddy :[

P.S. No one is out of anyone's league! Feel good about your self, and try new experiences.

Just leave it up to her. If it is meant to be she will get back to you...if not...then you will find something 10X better...just remember, you may be out of her league! Best wishes!
