The smiles on my children's faces
Seeing my friends and family accomplish great things.
The sun shining
The flowers blooming
The smell of jasmine in the air
Love

Meet a person whom you like and you are happy.
Talk to a person who is positive and you are happy.
Get a thing you have been craving for and you are happy.
Go to a place where you had been planning to visit for a long time and you are happy.
See the first rays of sun in a chilly morning and you are happy.
Hear the birds chirp, deep waters roar, and the crying of a child just out of the womb of a mother and you are happy.
See the clouds float in the sky, the morning drops of dew on flower petals, a mother bird feeding its infant, a herd of animals enjoying a community bath, and the branches of two adjacent trees in an interlock and you are happy.
Listen to music and poetry you adore, and look at a painting you praise and you are happy.
Move inside and try to unravel Truth and you are happy.
Happiness is a state of mind which is formed when the link between the mind and the heart is spontaneous and the link blinks into one's eyes. It reflects eternal joy and an unending flow of pleasure.
In down to earth terms, food, fun, frolic, fitness, fashion, fads, and the like make a person a happy person.

For me happiness lies in the air I breathe, the food I eat ,the love i get and the life I live. Just as Lord Buddha has said "A man can be happy only if he can be true to onleself" , I true feel happy when I do the righ thing , when I help others and get helped in return when I am in my greatest need.
