DearPramod Firstly what I need to say is that as I too happen to be from India I understand your question. In Indian context I would say that the boy is attracted the the girl but he can't admit it even to himself. I believe that in a strange way HE LIKES THE GIRL.

It depends on many different things
Where he kissed her: Lips, cheek, hand, etc.
How he kissed her: Long and hard, quick peck, Tongue and wet
On whether he kisses all his female friends: He does it all the time with everyone or was it just for her
On what she did: Gave him a kidney or gave him a quarter for the phone. (Here the smaller the gesture, the more meaning of the kiss).

It depends on the kiss's style.
It can mean that he likes her and wants to express that, but some girls may understand in a different way !!!

Depends: If it is a peck on the lips, then I would say it meant he was really over joyed and just kissed her.
If it was a really good kiss, then I would say he has liked her for a while and used it as an excuse to kiss her. There might be more than friendship on his side......
