My adult sister bullies my mom. She lives at my mom's house with her 7 year old son. She has hit my mom before and has a terrible temper. Every time my mom tries to say something about her behavior, my sister threatens to take away her son so my mom will never be able to see her grandson again. This is how she gets away with her cruel treatment. I live on my own in a nearby town and can stand up to my sister and she wouldn't dare treat me the way she treats mom. I have stood up against her treatment of mom but I can't do this everytime because I end up in a fight w/ her and I'm just tired of it. I get frustrated that mom doesn't stand up to her. So what can we do?

i'm feeling especially sensitive and allergic to v-day this year because this is the first time i'm spending it alone..as in without my bf by my side. we broke up last year. everywhere i go, people are selling roses and v-day cards, bears and all. it reminded me painfully about the past which i'm trying so hard to get over it. well i've gotten over it but somehow it still haunts me every now and then.my ex bf gave me a bunch of roses for v-day last year and that was the first and the last bunuch of roses i got from him. and i saw him a few weeks ago and he pretended he couldn't see me.we used to be so close as we were each other's first gf/bf & now we were like strangers.well i just wanted to share my feelings here..thanks!

They didn't used to do that and if you did, people would look at you weird. Nowadays, people think you're strange and heartless if you don't have one.

I've been seeing a guy for a little bit, but someone overheard a conversation I was having and said they thought he was married, but wasnt sure. Is there a way I can find out before I delve deeper into the relationship? I have asked him, he said he wasnt but don't most cheaters say that?

We co-own a house, he pays the mortage, I pay the bills. On his day off he drinks, eats everything in the house, leaves all the lights on, turns up the heat. I have no money for a lawyer, and no where for me and my child to go to. A shelter or friends is not possible, I need to keep my son in school and me in work, and it wouln't matter anyway, all the utilities are in my name, therefore I am responcible for them, and if I leave he'd just run them up anyway! The house is the only money I have, I feel helpless, any suggestions?

I have always had self esteem issues and body image issues...How do I become comfortable with how I look regardless of my size. I have been fat, lost weight and chubby but I have never liked my body and I can't stand looking at my body in the mirror. I want to know how other people have dealt wit this issue. Now I am engaged and I still think that my fiance is just as disgusted with my body as I am...

I have started seeing this girl who is really flirtatious. Now she wants to get serious and talks about engagement and etc. I know she will be going to this certain club with her girlfriends tonight. So I asked the best looking and the most smooth talking of all my friends to go there, hit on her, and try to get her number. What do you think of this simple yet GREAT idea?!

I am not clingy but I do feel my boyfriend and I should spend more time together. How do I talk with him about it without appearing needy? We have been together for six months. We are not teens. He is turning 34 and I just turned 27.

In Mark 10:9 Jesus states, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." No one is ever to separate a husband and wife. And by the way, there are NO SCRIPTURAL GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE. In Matthew 5:32, Jesus said, "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." Carefully notice that Jesus never gave anyone permission to divorce because of adultery. What Jesus said is that a man would not be responsible for causing his wife to commit adultery, if she was ALREADY committing adultery.

If a guy's "thing" goes up while you're with him, he likes you. Because, this is what happened to me:

I ask my hot friend who i secretely have a crush on.. (best friends) to sit next to me cuz, his buddies never let him sit by me, and he does sit next to me. Then when I lean in to see somethin on his paper it's like UPPPPP... He thought I didn't notice... But I did, and he kept trying to hide it... So is it true that if it goes up he likes you...

So, does that mean that he was thinking about me? or was it someone else >.<

I've been feeling really down recently - I'm missing my Mum loads (who died 10 years ago - I'm suddenly missing her more and more), my relationship with my husband is in a bad way and has been for a while now, work is real busy which is good, but means I'm always tired, and I just feel I have no fun anymore. I'm 26 next week and sometimes feel I'm about to turn 66! I wonder how my life has got to this and was hoping some of you out there may have some ideas to pick me up a bit?

I've always been about doing the right thing for my wife. First I married her but not under ideal circumstances. I got her pregnant so I stepped up to the plate and lived up to my responsibilities. Most guys don't even do that these days, they just cut and run. Second, I encouraged and helped her get through college. This ensured that she would be able to get a decent job in the event that I croak or leave. I did not want her to be the type of woman that cannot earn her own money and support herself if need be. Third, I encouraged her to get out there and get a job and in fact she got a better paying job than I have. Lastly, we were finally able to purchase a nice home in a great neighborhood. I am so proud of her!

The problem is, I never got a chance to live it up before marriage. In fact she is the only woman I've ever been with. Her, she had a previous lover.

Is divorce my only option to be able to "sow wild oats" now? Would this be the "right thing" to do for her?
