My best friend and I (opposite sex) have kissed each other on the lips. While I am happily engaged, I'm not sure if this is okay. There is no sexual attraction between the two of us whatsoever and neither of us see the potential of a sexual/dating relationship. We just wanted a way to express our love towards each other (which is more like family than a boyfriend/girlfriend). Is it considered cheating since it was only intended as a friendship kiss and there is no intention of going beyond that? Also, do you have any experience with this type of situation? Would you mind sharing?

My gf&I have been dating for 3 years.Yesterday she said she was unhappy&board in our relationship. She told me that we come for 2 different paths. She told me she wanted to marry me, now she hasn’t wanted to marry me for awhile saying that she has to push me to do everything. The lifestyle she came from is one of eloquent dinners, bfs w/families that have summer houses& went to college right out of school. That’s not me, I just went back 2 school&my family doesn’t have a lot of $.She seems like she looks at my past¤t situation as what I’m going to be, and not at what I could be.She said in the past she thought I wasn’t attracted to her, she knows now that I was.She said b/c of thinking that, she resentments me&she’s not attracted to me.She has said we spend 2 much time together, but we haven’t spent any more then b4. She just graduated&is working full time, I’m the only one that she interacts with.I said 2 hang out w/ friends&that we would see each other a few days a/wk. Help stay or go?

I want to go stay with my boyfriend over the summer but I know my mom would never let me go she is so strict and I'll be almost 18. Should I just tell her I'm going to stay by a friends house?

I just turned 30 years old and here's my story.....
I met a wonderful boy when I was in 9th grade. He followed me to my first period class everyday. He'd say, "hey girl, come here for a minute." I'd say, "I have to get to class." One day I stopped and talked to him, we hit it off and ended up together untl his death. I was 20 years old and he was 21. At the time of his death, we had a son who was 1 1/2 yrs old and a 2 month old daughter (now 11 and 9 1/2). Ok folks, he passed away of a seizure on 6/6/1997. I have since had 2 more children (2 & 4) by someone who I'm no longer with, but I still cry sometimes about my two oldest childrens dad. When I think about him my chest hurts and I'm still so hurt. He treated me so well and I loved him so much. He was a beautiful person. His death was all of a sudden, here one day and gone the next. Should I still be this hurt? Will I feel this way for the rest of my life? I'm just not sure if this is normal.

I would like some feedback on this situation. I am a divorced mother of two who is currently involved in a relationship with a man who is also a divorced father of two. My daughter's 7th birthday is today and I am throwing a birthday party for her this weekend. I have always invited my ex (her father) to my children's birthday parties because he is their father. However, my boyfriend feels that this is not right. He feels that we should lead completely separate lives and throw separate parties for the children. He says that it is confusing to all involved and gives the impression that we are still a family. I disagree, but am open to hearing what others have to say about the matter.

I have a boyfriend that my family doesn't know about yet and he has proposed to me. There are a few reasons why I have been worried to tell them. He is almost 5 years older then me, he has a 10 month old daughter, and we live 800 miles apart. I need some advice on how to tell my family, especially my mom cause we are really close. Any ideas?

We have reached the rock of the rock bottom and just do not see a way out apart from the obvious. Any help, suggestions or advice from anyone who has been through it? We argue all the time, always ends in tears, always about silly things. Its can't get any worse. Have been married for abt 2 yrs. Most of it has been in misery

My girlfriend is in the Army, and I am in the process of trying to rejoin the Army. I know that there are going to be some upcoming hardships with the possibility of seperation due to deployment and training and all that, but I am wanting to know if anyone has any advice on the situation. How we can help to make the relationship last and also to make it easier than what a lot of people say its might be.

My wife and my children are grown and our lives have been freed up quite a bit. We cannot afford to really start a business on our own right now, but we aren't financially strapped either. We would like to find etc. that we might could work on together as a couple. Maybe even something that required some traveling. Does anyone know of any such jobs?

My hubby and I have been married for 13 years but 3 years ago we split up. I was unhappy but instead of talking to me, he just left and went off the rails for months; living with a bunch of single guys half his age. During that time I looked after the children and he would visit them now and again absolutely out of his head, it made me mad!
Then he met someone else and told me it was over. I freaked out and fought for him because I knew it was all about the drugs, booze and he was out of his mind - not to mention that I still loved him. I fought for 7 months while he toyed with this other girl and I at the same time. (I know I'm making him sound bad but he was really not 'himself' and I forgave all of it.)
Anyway...it's all over now and we are back together and really happy. BUT I suddenly am having flashbacks and everything now reminds me of what happened. He is so sorry and is grovelling at my feet. I fought so hard and won. What is wrong with me, how do I get over it?

My b/f thinks I ask too many questions. ( I don't really. He is a quiet person, so sometimes I ask questions to get him to talk) The other day we were walking past a wall full of small holes and I said, I wonder where they came from. He smiled and said , 'From shooting people who ask too many questions.' I knew what he meant, so I asked if he would come rescue me if I was to be shot at , and he said, " No I would be the one who pulls the trigger". I know he was not being serious, but still it was not funny at all.

Oh and he thinks he has a very good sense of humor, but I think he was being very mean to me. I was upset. I wonder if he really loves me.
