OK, tough one. First, depends on how old you two are. Hard to answer with limited information. If bf means you are both having sex, then he might have been testing the water to see if you would allow him to give you the pearl necklace. I doubt a younger guy wants to give you a real pearl necklace, most younger girls dislike them. Since he laughed, a.. he meant the nasty, or be, he is so out of the know the laugh was an uncertain laugh looking for your input. You can test that by asking which store did he see the necklace and watch his reaction, answer. Hope that helped.

I think he said a bad cliche, then realized how perverted it was as well, or he was just being 100% perverted. It's really wrong to say you want "nothing" for Valentines Day though. In the future just say "why don't you surprise me?" or something of that nature.

A "pearl necklace" is when a guy uses your clevege to get off. (another term:titty f*ck) The spew that is left around your neck after he gets off it why it is called that. Sorry to be so graphic, but now you know. And, yes - he is being a pervert!

I'd pretend nothing is up and I'd go pick out a nice one at the mall and tell him that's the one I want him to get for me for valentines since he offered. Afterall, I would want him to get one that I really liked.

I'd love to say he was being serious, and only laughed because he was in a good mood. I mean, if I was dating someone and they suggested that, it wouldn't be in a perverted way; I wouldn't date someone that immature. So that leaves me to ask, how old is he? I also suggest just asking him flat out if that was meant to be a joke. If so, tell him to grow up.
