My wife and my children are grown and our lives have been freed up quite a bit. We cannot afford to really start a business on our own right now, but we aren't financially strapped either. We would like to find etc. that we might could work on together as a couple. Maybe even something that required some traveling. Does anyone know of any such jobs?

Working on a cruise ship (not sure where you live now).

My husband and I have taken to real estate investment quite a bit. It something we can do together, provides great returns, and requires travel, as to find the best deals in the best areas you need to travel around to find them. It's been something we've really grown together doing, especially as we watch our retirement funds grow.

I know a couple who bought a motorhome and drove across country. They stopped at many motorhome parks met lots of new friends and saw a beautiful country. They settled for a time in one spot and he worked at the entrance registering folks and she worked at the little store they had. They state they have never been so happy in their lives and should have done it years ago... just a thought. They still do this and just drive over to see thier children/grandchildren whenever they feel the need.

You might try volunteering together. Try locally first, like Habitat for Humanity. Then go overseas in Africa where help is really needed. It doesn't pay financially (and may cost you some). Helping others could be fulfilling for both of you and doing this together would be even better.

You could be a truck driver... Make good money, travel the states... Might be kind of fun, a lady in my office and her husband did that for years...
