It was no big deal. We both wanted Chinesse Food and she didn't have cash on her, so I bought her's for her, and said you can just pay me back when you have cash. Well today after work I want to drink some beers. I don't want to sound rude to her, but I want to send her a text like, "Chinesse Food for a 6 pack tonight--One for me one for you?!?! Whaddya say!?" ---That doesn't sound rude or demanding does it?!

Let me know if you have any other suggestions?

you always hear that one or the other want different thing sexually. either he wants it more or she does. if 2 people are compatible in everyother way but sexually the other person should permit an open marriage.

There's this guy at my gym, he's actuaaly a trainer there, and my problem, is the fact that I don't know if he's flirting with me or not.For instance, around christmas, he came up to me and asked me how my holidays and I told him it was okay, then he asked me, who did I spend it with. And then there was another occasion where he came up to me and told me I looked sad, and wanted to see me smile, and as I was leaving asked me when will I be back.I'm thinking , well maybe he's just being friendly, but he's always telling me to text message him for trainer sessions, and i told him several times, I'm a broke *** college student, and I cannot afford them, but then he's still asking me to told me to call him on his cell phone for a free session, and he told me not to worry about it...and so i told him I would let him know but he will text me, and tell me that he wants to hook me up, and money is no problem, so I booked the free session, but my question is why is he being so pushy

I know that the new husband is supposed to remove his new wife's garter (worn just above her knee under the wedding dress) as part of the reception, and she's supposed to throw it (or at least, this is the version I've always heard) like the bouquet.

My question is: why? What is it supposed to symbolize and what happens to the person that catches the garter? Where did the tradition come from, or did us crazy Americans just make it up? Is there a specific color that a bride should wear, such as white is the traditional wedding dress color?

I'm curious, because I plan to wear a garter at my own wedding, and I want to know why in the world I'm wearing it!

You can see someone who married at 18 throwing in the towel at 38 when the kids are grown. But suppose you married over 35? Did you think that you would stay marrried, beyond that whole "I'm not young anymore, I need to get out now" thing?

I'm on year 3 of trying to get a divorce. I've had to hire an attorney and go through mediation. My soon to be ex treats our children like bargaining chips. He quit a great job and no longer carries medical insurance on the kids. I have to carry the insurance. I had to get a support order for him to pay child support. He just keeps finding ways to keep the divorce from happening.
I figured he would want it over quickly because he is engaged to the woman he left me for. How do I get through this without killing him? Not that I'd really do that, but you know what I mean.

No one at work knows that I was ever married nor divorced. I have been asked about it a few times, but I usually try to brush off the question. I have wanted to change my last name for a while because I dislike my abusive ex-husband's last name. I have had to answer to this name that I hate for the year that I have worked here. The only reason I did not apply for the job with my maiden name is because my ex told me he wanted to work things out in counseling, but then he left me and behind my back he filed for divorce.

I would like to start using my maiden name again, but am not sure how to go about it because the attorney I work for likes to gossip and tell stories about his employees. If this was not the case, I don't think I would care as much. I know being upfront would lead to more stories and gossip. I plan on working at this place for several years and I don't want to continue going by my ex's last name. How should I go about changing my last name?

My ex-girlfriend will not give me the space I need to heal...She keeps contacting me, and it hurts. Plus shes dating someone else, she keeps saying that she just wants to be friends, but she also says things like "If you think I wasn't in love with you when we dated, your wrong" and stuff like that...I know she wasn't in love with me because she dated this guy 3 weeks after she broke up with me! She'll tell me she missed me and stuff, and lately I've been ignoring her, is there something else I should do? Girls help!

And i want to at least get her phone number before she leave. The only reason im scared is because my ex girlfriend is always coming to my apartment uninvited and i dont know if she still want to be with me or not but i dont have feeling for her anymore but i dont want to hurt her. And the girl i like is Chinese and im Black which can make the situation a little harder for me.

My daughter and I had just attended my niece's wedding. I guess the experience had too big of an impact on my daughter, because now she is persistant of being married by the time the year is over. This is a problem since she is only 16 years old! I've tried everything to convince her that in this society, she is too young to get married. I'm getting very worried, though, because recently I saw a wedding dress (not my late wife's. That's still in the attic) hanging in her room, and she is always wearing a gold ring. I don't know where she got these, and she won't tell me! She doesn't even have a boyfriend. Can anybody give me advice before the inevitable happens?

Ok so my friend is engaged and in the process of planning her wedding. She is working on the guest list and is having some disagreements with her fiance. Her fiance comes from a small town where everybody kinda knows everybody. He used to date this girl for 3-4 years in high school/college and they are still "friends" (I dont think they hang out or anything but still email every once in a while etc) almost 10 years later. Because of the fact they lived in a small town, a lot of his friends are her(the exs) friends as well, some even still really close to her. Is it wrong for my friend (the one who is getting married) to tell her fiance she does NOT want the "common" friends there (and some he isnt even that close to anymore)? She doesnt want them to mention her, or take pictures of them and show them to the ex.. etc..(I dont know her full reasoning though)He isnt going to invite the ex, obviously...but what should I tell her? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
