I really like this guy. He just got out of a relationship but he seems pretty darn over it. Last time I saw him was at church, and I got three hugs. And usually everytime I see him we hug. But he tells me he doesnt know how he feels about me. Should I just give him time or play along?

If he likes you you'll be able to tell. He will stare at you, touch your arm when he's talking to you, but the most tell-tale sign is when you have eye contact when talking and after your finished he will hold the eye contact for a few extra seconds.
You can tell alot about how a guy feels about you by their eyes. For example....if they look kinda watery when he is laughing at something you have said then he is enjoying your company.

Honey it is obvious. He talks to ya alot and act as if he is interested in so many things that you are talkin about. In a way he tries to get to know you better. Sometime they compliment ya on what you have on or the fragrance you are wearing. Some men love to touch you when they are talkin to you too!!!! Just a few hints to let ya know when a male is flirting.

When he acts like an idiot. Although, that may not be accurate, guys act like idiots all the time...
I think you just know. And if you're not sure, just assume he is. Then, if he's not, maybe he'll at least be flattered.
I'm talking out my butt. Hell if I know. I don't even realize when I'M flirting.
Note to gun: You may be right, but I tend to laugh at anyone who attempts to be funny... just so their feelings won't be hurt.

not even paying alot of attention does he speak to you?? i mean with me and most of my freinds dont really talk to girls unless
their intrested in you, i.e. if you standing in line and the guy behind you says "nice weather" he likes you....or he's an idiot
you can see it's a nice day out theres no reason to say it
he doesnt know you and has no reason to talk to you really does he?.........oh yes he does he wants you why elese state the obvious to a complete stranger , girls are so nieve some times it's funny seriously if you dont really know him and he talks to you you know, but if you do know him you gotta listen to what he says guys dont give complments unless thier into you think about the boys club not that theres an actually club per se but guys rip on each outher and anyone elese were built to talk smack and have smack talked about us no biggie so if a guys giving you compliments its outta place as well and he probaly likes you

You can tell when a guy is flirting with you when he goes out of his way to do certain things. A boy can also flirt with you by talking or picking on you.

it depends on the way you contact with him or her. you should know what is your relationship based on. is he or she your boy or girl friend and you can ask him or her the last question which make him or her understand that you want him to have some responsibilities , if he accept it so he has passed the test otherwise you should know you are being flirted

It could be blatant like winking or giving lots of compliments, or not so obvious like just wants to spend a lot of time with you talking, laughing a lot, brushing on you lightly...if you think he's flirting, he probably is.

When the guy is making constant eye contact with you. Or when he uses your name more than usual. Or the guy makes up excuses just to be around you.

When he is more talkative and trying to be up close nd personal. He will be more touchy and laugh at the most stupid jokes you tell, they're men, they have no true reactions.

Do you want him to flirt? Your actions have effects - inviting?
