Rubi, ultimately it is the fear of being rejected. Many men see a pretty woman and think they have no shot with her. If you really like a guy who says he thinks you are fly, go up to him and talk to him. Start with small talk. Once he sees that you are interested, he is more apt to feel comfortable and ask you out. I know some people here don't agree (i.e Joseph C), but believe me when I tell you that guys like it when pretty women make the first move. Trust me.

I feel ya on that sister! To me it is childish to get your friends to hollar at a woman for you and it is childish to hollar at a woman when she walks by. Why can't some men approach a woman like a grown man? The high school shyness should've been left in high school. I'm glad someone else feel the same as I do.

Well like the others said maybe they are afraid of being rejected .Also some guys are shy and insecure, as such - it's very difficult for them to approach you as you have decribed your self to be.

That is easy. They think you are hot and because of that, they are afraid of you rejecting them. Rejection is a very hard thing to deal with and sometimes when the person is so very hot then it makes it even harder.
