Let's say you're living in your parent's home and they're homophobic. They don't allow you to live as who you are. This behavior is obviously stupid and idiotic in so many way and there isn't much a child can do about it. The child already has enough to put up with, dealing with every other stupid homophobic behavior out there. But in this case, they can't really walk away from it or get away from it because they must live in their parents house. What really can the child do? Homophobia is stupid and needs to be attacked once in for all. How can we punish these stupid parents?

The other night my best friends little sister who is 23 and I 27, were watch a movie at my place together. We’ve known, argued and played pranks on each other since childhood. My house is very big and creepy at night. Long story short I got a dim-witted idea to pull a prank on her (like we always do!), by scaring her once she got back from my bathroom. So when she was walking down the darkened hall I jump out and scared the crap out of her! She punched me in the chest and stormed off. I laughed, thinking it was funny at the time…until I followed her into the living room and realized she was crying really badly. Sitting her on my lap I stroked her back and hair, telling her I was soooo sorry. I was extremely SHOCKED because she NEVER cries! Well not when anyone is watching. Since she was a little girl she has always had this (I’m beautiful, smart, successful, I don’t need anyone) tough girl façade. Well I posted a previous question relating to this the other day…I got a lot of good answer. However everybody told me to talk to her and find out why she was really crying but to be honest I don’t know how to go about it. Every time I ask her why, she tells me without making eye contact “I don’t know.” And tries to change the subject…we both know that there was another major reason for her crying but she won’t say. I really do care about her… I know she’s not angry with me…and I could pressure her into telling me but I don’t want to make her cry once more. She seems to be unusually vulnerable from the other night.

How do I get her to open up to me, and tell me the truth, without making things worse?

The guy I like is hispanic and often refers to me as "mama".....is this something special or should I not read too much into it? We have been out several times and talk often and I am just trying to understand how deep his affection for me goes.....
Would he use this term with any casual female friend or only with someone he thinks of as more than a friend? Thanks :)

BF said "stop trying to buy me" I however in the 8 months we've been dating I've only paid for outings about 5 times and once bought him him $200 hockey tickets. We go out and I'm confused by his comment. I do make a good income and have substancial savings howver he makes more and his net worth is alot more than mine. Howver he has not completely seperated finances froim his ex as she never worked, he claims he's working on it. Both his exes (only 2) never worked, is he bothered because I'm very pretty and have my own money? Or is he making excuses because he's getting tired of the relationship.?

Please help!!!!

Please help

My father is selling our family restaurant. I am the youngest of four, and we have worked together for fifteen years. The new owner wants my husband and I to stay on, and we want to. It is an exciting new venture for the two of us, but we are feeling some resentment from my siblings. Being the youngest by eight years I have always felt somewhat disconnected to my siblings, but the older I get (29) the more I feel involved. Now, everything feels like it did when I was a teenager! None of them are staying on at the restaurant, they are going to try to start something on their own. My husband and I are staying on to maintain our current financial status, and I can't help but feeling guilty for not moving on with them. Everyone has assured me it is all in my head, but I feel absolutely horrible! I am so excited to work with the new owner, but I keep having this nagging guilt tugging at my side. I am so confused as to how to handle it all, and I really need an outside view!!!

I have been seperated for 3 years now ...We moved 3 years ago and my husband was not put on the lease because it's income based..we had our share of problems then b/c we were both young...he told me he was going to stay with friends for 2 weeks because anyone not on the lease can't live with you. Well 2 weeks gradually turned into 3 years..I know it's crazy...well now I'm to the point where I'm so lonely..we still have a relationship but we don't live together...he never comes to see me nor invites me over much he says it's because his job takes so much out of him which he does work ALOT...it's still no excuse I need more...I am not sure how to move on..because he calls daily still has married convos about bills and things..and well we are still sexually active which draws me closer and closer to him..what do you think the chances are of him coming home after all this time...things are genuinly better then before help?

This girl rejected me by ignoring me up until now (1 month).

I saw her at school, and I gave her the dirtiest look in the world.

Should I appologise to her, or does she deserve that?

The reason for my confusion is because I was good friends with her before I told her my feelings and I am heart broken. I feel terrible.

I live alone and not in a very good area to get out in and I depend on public transport which is about to restructure fares which means no more passes and less getting out and going for me. My friends are all work related and have their own lives so we never get together outside work. I have many interests but my life is pretty routine with no real "fun" things going on. I work, go to the store, go to the bank, etc. When I am talking to a guy they always ask what I like to do for fun and I am blank because I don't do anything for fun anymore. I don't like to get out by myself and don't have the money to do much. I don't want to sound like a bore to them and very much want to go out and do stuff but I just need someone special to do it with. What's the best way to get that point across without sounding like I have no life, even though I don't?

This would be very embarrasing if it wasn't the internet. I love it when my husband gives me a spanking. I am way too embarrassed to ever admit it to him. I make him think it's his idea, and even mildly resisit sometimes. I could never ask him to spank me, I'd be mortified to. The truth is, I wish he would give a spanking all the time, it's so erotic and such a turn on. It's the type of thing I never could talk about with my girl friends, I'm afaifd of what they would think. But I know many of them like it by subtle comments over the years, and I'm sure they know the same about me, but no one ever talks about it directly. So I wanted to see if most girls felt the same as I do, we really like getting spanked but could never admit it.
