Why is it that a16 year old guy, that can have ANY girl in school, and hes into the 13 year old tomboy freshman? although they do have almost everything in common, he is a whole 3 years older than her? i mean shouldnt he be into the girls his own age?(im not into him, hes my cousin and im just wondering)

they really do have a lot in common, music, movies, interest, sports...
no hes not a perv.and im just wondering if its normal.

That is quite an age difference when you're in your teens. (Isn't it amazing how 3 years means nothing when your in your 20's or older?). It may be a maturity thing. Perhaps your cousin isn't as mature as others his age and is more comfortable hanging out with the tomboy. She, at least, probably doesn't have any high expectations of him that his peers may have. You mention that they have everything in common, so that's what he sees in her. He's comfortable with her and I'm sure she looks up to him because he's so much older so that's good for his developing masculine ego.

He's into what he's into. Mentally you're boy cousin is the same age as her. In two years it will be illegal so I hope he's not sleeping with her. That's the girl he wants, and you're going to have to live with that. It's not like it's any of your business. Sorry sweetie, don't mean to be harsh, but your cousin is a big boy I'm sure he can take care of himself.

no, it's usually the other way around. girls his age don't like him because he is immature. it takes about 3-5 years for boys to mentally mature compared to girls. so that's about right and that's why he's interested in a girl 3 years younger than him.

3 years is a bit of a challenge until one gets to be in their 20's, then it doesnt' matter.
I think its just what you said - if the've got a ton in common, why wouldn't he want to spend time with her?
