Can somebody tell me why men always have to be right. Why do they insist that they bring home the bread while women work just as hard all day long, plus cook, clean, feed, prepare for the next day, bathe, get kids to sleep, etc.-and we never have time to ourselves or even get to think about ourselves, yet we are expected to never say a word about it while our lazy husbands sit on the couch and watch t.v. bc they worked for a whole 8 hours--I really don't get this

Anyone have any stories where their long distance relationship has worked? How far apart were you? How often did you see each other? Did one of you have to sacrifice a move to be with each other?

I am in a distance relationship myself right now, and it is going really good. It gets tough at times, but we just make sure to make communicating or number one priority and traveling to see each other as often as possible. I am just starting to get scared about one of us having to sacrifice a move to be with each other... which one of us is going to give up our job and current life in the city that we are currently living in??

and "hang out". Physically, we are as compatible, as can be. Emotionally, we love each other, she has a daughter that I love and who loves me. I saw her a couple of days ago and I was going to sleep on the couch, and she ended up being "What are you doing, your sleeping with me!" So I am trying to figure out how should I proceed and what my expectations should be? I am not sure what she means by "hanging out".

When a man leaves his family for another woman why is it the woman that is deemed as the home wrecker? Surely the man leaving behind his family BY HIS OWN CHOICE is the homewrecker? Or do we, as woman still feel the need to be accepted by men so much that its easier to blame another female?

I am seeing a guy that works out of state a lot. He is only home 1 or 2 weekends of the month. He wants us to be in a real serious relationship and talks about getting married, building a house, having kids, etc. What I liked about him most was that he was such a nice sweet guy. Problem....maybe not????

He forwarded me a text message that said "I wanna f**k you so bad...." When I asked who sent him that, he hesitated and said that it was a girl he met when working out of state last year. .....he said that she was a stalker and won't stop texting him....blah blah blah. Since then, I have checked his phone and he calls her as well as she calls him. When I asked about it joking because he is working there now (not telling him I knew) he said he doesn't like her and NEVER talks to her.

He knows I have guy friends & wouldn't care if he had girl friends, why would he lie? Does it mean that there is something more going on? Or am I just looking for a way out?

His nagging is so draining. He thinks its him being helpful. It's not helpful. We're in counselling but he always expresses himself the same way no matter what. Housework, body size, parenting... everything is a problem with him. It's not everyday that it is brought up but when he does, he throws around words like "never," "always" and "I don't see why you can't______" - fill in whatever his particular point is. I will not divorce him, so I'm asking for tips on how to deal with him. I pray a lot for him, but I think I'm stuck with his personality despite our blessings, my efforts, etc. I'm pleased with myself but I try hard to please him, too. NO, he wasn't this way before we got married. He mentioned things but he used TACT back then. Thanks for your encouragement even if its just hard truths you give me.

When I was younger, if someone couldn't make it, they replied no on the rsvp and send a card to the couple. Now it seems the norm is to have multiple receptions for folks in various areas of the country who couldn't make it. When did this come about? And wouldn't it be expensive to pull off? Just one reception is usually quite expensive as it is.

I am 24, been with my hubby for about 3 years. However, one thing is wrong- he thinks all women should be a perfect mother, like his apparently was. She is a great lady, has had a career thruout having children (shes an accountant). She also cooks all the family meals (she is an amazing from scratch cook), cleans her house to a shine every day, does everybodys laundry, remembers all birthdays, anniversaries, and to send out get well soon cards to people who are sick. She also works 8-10 hours a day, and works out at the gym every other day. Her house is immaculate, her cooking amazing, and she is the nicest lady ever.
The issue is- my boyfriend grew up with this as a role model, and now we fight a lot about how I don't cook every night, clean every day, remember to send cards, etc. We have a 4 yo son, and I am 4 mos preg. Yes, our house is CLEAN, but toys all over. Laundry is done, but not folded right away. How do I get him to see that I'm not as together as his mom?!

I was just wondering, because I've heard that "love at first sight" is really lust at first sight and usually is influenced by physical appearance. However, I was wondering if less attractive people also experience instant chemistry or butterflies in the stomach or if only the more attractive people were the lucky ones.

This is for parents of adult children.

How often does your adult child call you about how now she or he and the spouse have been working for six months on a job and now think they deserve to own a home, new car, or some other expenive item? Then, 24-hours later, is calling you because their gas got turned off and they need to "BORROW" money..................................................

Sorry, the A.I. Module in the computer started laughing at the idea that my daughter actually said she is going to pay it back.

Borrow money to pay the bill, and send it back tomorrow.
