ask him out men have been dealing with this problem for decades no one wants to be rejected but still we miss out on so much by not asking and it might flatter him and stroke his ego

Wait until you're at least 80% sure he likes you back before you ask him out, that way you won't have to worry about rejection! :) Does he seem happy to see you? Does he flirt with you? Is he nice and respectful to you? Does he look at/talk about other girls when you're around?
You could ask him out on a group date, or you could buy tickets to a concert/game and tell him your "friend cancelled at the last minute" and ask him if he wants to go.
Of course, I'd rather just let him ask me out, guys like the chase. :) Plus, I know from experience that guys will hang out with a girl who asks them out just because they don't want to be alone and they don't like to reject women, but if they REALLY like you, they'll make the effort to be with you and make the first move. They won't wait around and let you get snatched up by someone else.
Maybe he's out there somewhere asking a question on how to ask YOU out!

Ask him! What's the worst that can happen? He says no. That's better than you going through life wondering "what if..."

i would wait for him to ask me out..don ever ask a guy out! that'z just my opinion but i won't ask them out..they should
