I do the same thing, obviously it is not that he doesn't love you. Its just that may be when he was a child his parents didn't say I love you very much or at all (which was my case), but they did show him love by their actions - Which is exactly how he is expressing it with you.

Always remember actions speak louder than words.

After a year and a half, I think somebody should say it. If you do, you'll be putting yourself out there, but by this time, if he is still around, he must feel something for you.
I would suggest that you say it. Make sure the kids aren't around in case it doesn't go well. I doubt that will be a problem, but better safe than sorry. I also would not do this after being intimate. I would wait for a time when you can talk without the distractions of a naked body next to you.

Some people, but mostly guys, have trouble with those 3 little words....I LOVE YOU....You may consider telling him how you feel (I suggest after sex)....but keep in mind you will be putting yourself out there....

and Quoting from my favorite show....It has the shelf life of a diary product, it will start to stink after a week.

May want to consider enjoying what you have and giving him time, he will tell you when he's ready. Sometime's it's no good to rush things. Sounds like you've got something not many people have. You should Cherish it.

By all means then tell him how you feel. Life is too short to play games and wonder how he really feels about you. It sounds like you are both afraid to say the "L" word. After a year and a half you should feel comfortable enough to tell him.
Good luck!

Have you thought that maybe he hasn't said it for the same reason you haven't said it. If you love him don't hide your feeling from him. if hes such a special guy has you describe him to be then there shouldn't be a reason why he wouldn't say it back .

Everything is great...so, what is the problem? Are you saying that you need the security of hearing him verbalise it??

He is in the exact same situation to you[you haven't told him either] just say it to him [if you mean it]!

Dont force it upon him. Women are so bent on hearing those words, but in reality, action speaks louder than words. His actions says it all.

Why wait? If you love him and you know he loves you, just tell him. Could it be that he's thinking the same thing about you and why you haven't said it?
