and "hang out". Physically, we are as compatible, as can be. Emotionally, we love each other, she has a daughter that I love and who loves me. I saw her a couple of days ago and I was going to sleep on the couch, and she ended up being "What are you doing, your sleeping with me!" So I am trying to figure out how should I proceed and what my expectations should be? I am not sure what she means by "hanging out".

well, sometimes when a girl says that its just really a way to keep you around and not let any other girls close to you, maybe she does want you back but is waiting for you to make a move. If you really love this girl then you should talk to her, tell her whats the deal, either you guys together or not, but "hanging out" just leads to a very confusing relatsionship in which one day she might go out with some dude and not even warn you about it, or you wont know if you can go out with other girls. Make things crystal clear!

whats the point of being friends with benefits?? honestly isnt that pretty much the same thing as dating ??? theres a reason why u broke up either she' thinks u both made a mistake and trying to get back with u or she just has issues cuz that dont make sense man yea lets be friends and still get a peice from each other..... ok well then whats a relationship?? being close friends but still showing it by having sex there u go either date her or dont!

meaning you guys are friends probably best friends. because Im going through the same thing with my boyfriend too. were just friends also that hang out. she says you guys are friends but still gives you the signs of being a couple. but just go with the flow & be there for her. because that's what a girl really wants when its break up time

Ask her what her intentions are. You need to know if you are wasting your time. If she just wants to hang out with you but keeps giving you mixed signals about your relationship it usually means she is playing games. Sounds like she wants to keep you on the side and available but has the we are broken up excuse if she wants to persue something else. She shouldn't be playing with relationships if she has a daughter. Tell her you need to know what is going on and what she truely wants from you. If she just wants to be friends and hang out then stick to it and let her know that is where you will stand. Don't let her play with your head.

From this female, I suggest you tread very carefully as many women have a way of being manipulative and then cry foul if it suits them. If you care for this woman and her daughter, then try to remain friends but you also need to protect your heart.
Ask her for a definition of "hanging out" but more importantly, go with your gut because unfortunately she may tell you what she thinks you want to hear as opposed to her actual intent.

When people first breakup, there's still alot of raw emotions running around inside. She obviously misses you and is looking for the intimacy without the commitment. I doubt you will be able to just play the role of her man when she wants and then cut it off when she finds someone else. That's going to leave at least one of you with some deep wounds.

It sounds like she is not sure what she wants she does not want to loose you by the sounds of it but is not sure what she wants, if you are happy to wait while she figures this out then all is wel, it just depends on you really how you feel and make sure your feelings are clear. I think she realizes that she has you wrapped around her cute little finger. So, just for kicks (when girls get all emotional, they create the strangest, most crpytic games with their male mating partner), she'll create fictional breakups to add spice, opera like drama, and adventure to the relationship so that she won't be bored of you.
You see, us men: we are very boring creatures by our linear nature and meat and potatos way of thinking. So a woman's tendency is to create soap opera drama to me things heated up which of course leads to better procreation.

She's playing with you. She wants to see how badly hooked you are. How far you will go. I am sure if you get in on her game and avoid her for a while and pretend to be busy or doing other things than being on call for her, then she will get worried and ask you back.
