Now I add this point they say your husband or wife is your best friend, they should and will know more about than you anybody so why not let it be the person who already shares this closeness with you.

Yeah i have dated my best friend of 5 years for 2 years, now we cant stand each other.... I woud have just kept it as best friends if i would of known we would of hated eash other .... something i would never do again!!

I was friends with this guy since I was 10 years old. He was really funny and I've always had a crush on him since I can remember. I am in my 20s. About a year ago, we dated for only a couple of months and now we barely talk. We'll never look at eachother as friends again, and I really regret it.

Not unless there has been some chemistry there from the beginning and dating was prevented by something like one person having a boyfriend/girlfriend. If both of us have been single the whole time, then probably not...I tend to be attracted to people instantly or not at all.

ooohh boy!!! well now,... i couldn't just for the fact that i knew him WWAAYY to long. sure he was cute and smart hell even a good guy but he and i are so close and know so much about each other it would be like dating a brother i never had. so my answer would be no, i wouldn't.
then again i guess it depends on how long the to of you have known each other.

Well... yes! I love internet things. I can come out and be somewhat truthful. Yes, I seriously would. It's kinda like dating someone that you already know, so it'd be fun, cuz it wouldn't be like the awkward conversations and stuff.

It would depend on how long this "person" has been my best friend. If were like super glue no.. because it would cause arguments.. and when the relationship ends... wheres ur best friend?

I don't think I would because if you are good friends with them it sould just be akward to be more than friends with them. And I don't think I could ever get passed the phase of just friends.
