I walked down the aisle to John Denver's "Is this love".
Our first dance was to Celine Dion "Because you loved me".

Here are some helpful links.

What about the old fashioned wedding march to go down the isle to? I had a acoustic guitar player play some classical music for when the guests arrive. He then played for me the wedidng march. It was beautiful. During the ceremony I had a very good friend of ours sing "Broken Road" from Rascal Flatts. It almost made my husband cry. It was really sweet. Then what was played on the way back up was a surprise for my new husband...I had the acoustic guitar player change and play the bagpipes. It was great. He loved it and so did everyone else. It was something to remember. For our wedding song we just picked a song that reminded us of each other. It wasn't one of the normal love songs you would hear. It wasn't even a song that you could dance to...but we managed. As a matter of fact, my husband and I sang most of it while we were dancing. We're not good with people all watching us...so we just had fun with it.
But if you want a nice 1st dance song...how about "When you say nothing at all". It's from Alison Krauss. I think that's how you spell her name. It's either under country or bluegrass. It's a beautiful song. One of my friends stole it from me when she got married. I wanted that song and was saving it. She was in my car and heard it and was like...oh my god...I love it...can I use that for my wedding song? So I said okay. Good thing...because I'm so happy we used a song we both loved and reminded us of each other instead and we had a good time with it as well.
Whew...sorry so long. Good Luck! And Congratulations!

Excellent first dance song would have to be You and I by Micheal Buble. I should know this for one reason and one reason alone, my wife and I just used in at our wedding two weeks ago!! Now a great song to come down thee aisle to is Cannon d, always one of my favorites. Another choice pick could be Jesu, joy of mans desiring. For postcessional there is thee ever common wedding march. So, I hope some of these work for you, cogratulations and good luck!! Also, remember the day as much as you can, it is going to go by so fast!!

i'm using the traditional "here comes the bride" to walk down the aisle. you can listen to song clips from some wedding websites www.ultimatewedding.com or www.theknot.com, trumpet voluntary is also very nice to walk down the aisle to.....it almost sounds like the song of royalty.
