I see alot of pretty girls with ugly dead beat guys that have no ambitions. They all have one thing in common. They have a kid with the guys. Is pregnancy the best strategy to keep a pretty girl???

I'm attracted to this guy and we have never really talked. We see each other alot around school but he is a year older than me and I am kind of shy around guys. From what I've heard from my friends that are on a team with him, he is pretty shy too. How do i start up a conversation with him, when the only time i see him is around all of our friends?

I told my best friend a partial lie. She's smokeing and she's pregnant, I love her and the baby. I saw Dr.Phil say on a show "we need to get her to stop smokeing she's torchering that baby". When I herd that I really wanted my friend to be aware of what the effect's of her smokeing was to the baby. So the next time I talked to her I started telling her what Dr.Phil said, and I started rambling on about other things I had seen on TV, about what it does to the baby, and basically the part of me seeing the rest on tv was a lie the facts were true I just had red them online. So two day's later I felt guilty because I don't ussually lie and never to her. I told her that I lied I appoligized. She did'nt bring it up agian for 3 weeks, I also asked her not to tell anyone like her fionsay, she's getting married in two months and I was sappose to be her maid of honor. I thought, if you can forgive me then don't tell anyone. So now she's mad and cant forgive me. We have'nt talked in 4 day's.

My dad has been sick for 5 years now and i have only know for about 2 months. I am 14 years old and i dont want to lose him. My dad is a very strong and positive person and my step-mom has been very upset but my dad always says everything is going to be ok, the other day my father looked at me and my step-mom and said "I am dying" and it scares me. my girlfriend and i have been dating for 3 years. we have had our ups and downs like any relationship. my girlfriends mother is dying for her to get rid of me. Her mom likes me but i don't think she thinks i good enough for her. my gf grew up dating people who's family were very well off. i'm 3 years older than my gf she will be finishing up college this year & i have just went back to school. her mom is into all that "status" stuff (money, class, education). i love my girlfriend a lot, but i she has sometimes think in same way as her mom. what should i do?

and then you realize they really werent your friend... and then you realize you were being mocked when you were trying to be friends....and then you thought it was real and it wasnt....? And now you feel really alone and miserable... And you just want to die

by reading some of the responses about foot fetishism, i realize that there are alot of judgemental people with no leg to stand on. so, with that said, if you can't reply with an intelligent answer, don't respond at all...

Okay, So I signed up for one of thoes friend network websites, sort of like hi5 or whatever. Anyway, I searched my boyfriends name and found out that he was signed up, so I joined the network to view his profile. Apparently he goes on often, I never knew, not that I need to know what he does all the time. There were messages on there from some gurl, so I viewed her profile, and read the messages my boyfriend sent her last week.

He said, "_ _ _ _ _!!!? Where have you beeen??!?!? How are you? and I seee you're still a hotty ;)" She replied: "Thanks, even though I don't think it's true. ADD ME TO MSN ALREADY!!!!"

Reading that made me feel so hurt. I'm not sure if I should be hurt. From what I can tell and know, he'll never cheat on me. I use to brag about how faithful he is, and how much he would never hurt me. But I feel so hurt, am I over reacting? and jumping to conclusions? or worse am I turning into a disgusting jealous girlfriend?

It doesn't seem right...

It seems out of proportion in Yahoo Answers compared to the reality.

I only met a handful of people who really wait... and most of the time is not their choice.
It's either they have attitude problems or they're out of the market for some reason.
But again, I did find a few great people who really knew what they wanted to do with their life... but only a few, very few in fact...

So what do you think?
How many of you are Americans?
How many of you are beyond the legal age (18-21+)?
