I want 2 buy a special birthday gift 4 my boyfriend. he loves car, & this is my 1st time buying a gift 4 him... so i was thinking of taking him somewhere, but i have no clue. His parents are very strict so i cant give him something to bring home, so where should i take him to? PLease some ideas...

Take him to an auto show. THose are always cool. or go to a local race course. Maybe take him to a Nascar store or a car accessory place and have him pick out something he likes for his car. Hotwheels are always a good one too, but make sure its something like his dream car, and they're small, so he'll be able to hide it from his parents. Lastly, just sit home and watch a movie like Gone in 60 seconds, or Fast and furious... something with fast cars.
