It doesn't seem right...
It seems out of proportion in Yahoo Answers compared to the reality.
I only met a handful of people who really wait... and most of the time is not their choice.
It's either they have attitude problems or they're out of the market for some reason.
But again, I did find a few great people who really knew what they wanted to do with their life... but only a few, very few in fact...
So what do you think?

Sorry, I asked those questions just because people in other countries might have a different value, and people who was younger than 18 might not know the question well or they had not make the decision yet regarding the issue!

I'm an American and and above the legal age. I would never think about waiting. Sorry, but a physical relationship is a big part of knowing someone, sometimes you click emotionally but not physically. it's better to know sooner than latter.

Sex is something special between two person. It should be up to you and your partner to decide whether to have sex or not. If you guys decide to go ahead and have sex before marriage, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. If you both decide to wait til marriage, that's good too.

I am 18, pretty popular at work and such but choose to wait due to my upbringing and religious views.

One of my best friends did. She waited for the actual act itself, however they did do oral - and everything besides sex.
She was 24 when she got married, in Nov.
