It is a part of your makeup. Why would you feel that you needed to get rid of it?

If you are experiencing escalating, potentially abusive behaviour, then I would say that you need intensive aversion therapy with a psychiatrist. Or maybe hypnotherapy.

But as long as you aren't doing anything illegal, I don't see anything wrong with it. You aren't approaching strange women and touching their feet, are you?

Why don't you take classes in therapeutic foot massage? You could make a living while indulging your fetish.

If your turned on by feet theres no harm in it. A fetish is just an object that you like the most in a sexual way. Everyone is turned on by something weather it be breast or a sexy but or feet. Some are turned on by non body parts as well. Such as food. And many others. Dont drive your self crazzy by trying to get rid of your fetish its harmless.

It would be the same as any obsession. If you need help getting over it, you should probably seek the help of a counsellor. If you have other obsessive desires, I would look into OCD and methods to get over it.

Think about what in your passed as caused this obsession. Getting the roots of the "problem" (and I only say that because you seem to think it is) will assist you in determining how to overcome it.

BUT... if it isn't afflicting your life in any way... and if you can control it until you are comfortable enough with a woman (or rather, she is comfortable with you) to act out on your desires, its a win win, - what woman doesn't like her feet touched and kissed?

Embrace it. Changing who you are because of a few narrow minded people (they are the minority) is not good. The only reason you'd want to seek counseling is if it seriously intruded on your life, like you couldn't keep a job because of it.

Think of it this way, what if the perfect woman for you has gorgeous feet and specifically loves the idea of being with a foot fetishist? You never know what you'll miss out on if you try pleasing the wrong people. The wrong people, in this case, are those who don't want to accept you for who you are.

You want a serious answer? You're about to get one:

Everyone has their fetishes. There's nothing wrong with it. Some people (in relation to physical attraction and/or sex) have eye fetishes (me), bondage, stripping, breasts, ears, etc. It's perfectly natural. And I assure you, having a fetish for feet is the least of your fetish problems. You could always have a cross-dressing fetish. If that were the case, then you'd have to worry.

Relax and trust me, it's no big deal.

Be proud of your fetish. Who cares what people say or think. I've found plenty of women who enjoy how much I adore their feet and I would never want to get rid of this fetish.

Stop being a wuss.
