I was in a relationship with my boyfriend when i moved town with my family approx 6 hrs away from him. We were dating for 1 year when i moved and then for 5 months, I continued the long term relationship eventually i broke up with him because i couldn't handle being apart and we were fighting because i wanted to be with him but i couldn't. I have been up to visit him because we agreed we still wanted to be friends but i feel like i made a mistake... he is still a great friend of mine but i can't help but think we would still have been together had i not moved....he was one of the most important things in my life he was everything i could have asked for in a man. Did i ruin everything by moving away and ending our relationship?

Yes we have talked and he has no contact with any of the people from his past. I am learning to take the advice givin me and trust him and not think he will hurt me like others have from my past. He has not done anything to loose my trust so I will trust him. Hard to do but he is worth giving a chance. And I am worth learning to be able to trust again.

I'm don't get real nervous or anything but I'm having some real trouble that's really taking away from the image I want to portray to my peers. When I'm hanging out w/ my friends, there's no problem because there's lots of people to talk to but when it's just me and only one other person, I have nothing to say. The very slight awkwardness makes me change completely into nothing but a body. When they do talk to me, I create a very bad mood by only saying a few words and having nothing else to say which makes them not want to talk to me. I like to talk to people but I guess they end up not thinking of me as the quiet guy at all but just the one that's not fun to hang around with. I guess my inability to work as an individual is the reason why I have lots of friends but no real buddies or a "best" friend. It's also making me unsure like I don't know who I am. Without people I'm nothing but when I have people, I can't be anything so please help me overcome this.

My ex fiance spent a night over his daughter's moms house? I feel that was disrepectful to our relationship. He told me he slept on the couch. However this is the 1rst woman he has ever made love to. She still lives in the same apartment they lived in when they where together. Not to mention his daughter is 17 years old. Don't you think it's uneccessary for him to spend the entire night over his ex' house. Even though they have a 17 year old daughter together. He feel that it's harmless I feel differently. He say's I just dont want him to see his daughter which is not true. I just feel he should see her in a more respectful setting. One that doesn't involve him spending a night.

Are you of mixed race? how easy do you find it to embrace your two cultures?... i am Latina/white and i feel i am more on the Latina side, i know it shouldn't be one or the other, but my skin is of olive complexion from my Latina mother, and my father had blond hair so eventhough my hair is brunette it is titian that looks light/dark
I speak proper English some describe my accent as posh, but when i curse i sound like a proper Latina, i consider myself Latina through and through.... if you are mixed which two cultures do you have, and how easily do you embrace your two cultures?

of failed relationships from the past.He told me he didn't expect me to wait for him.Now he's back asking 4 another chance,he says while he's dealing w/his issues,I could meet someone else and he would regret the fact that he would have lost a good thing forever and he's not willing to take that risk.He says he's genuinly honest this time about what he wants.I'm kind of afraid to give him another chance, that he may do the same thing again.I mean we some obstacles will have to deal with when it comes to public, besides me dealing w/his pain.He is 24 & I am 34,and he's african-american and I am hispanic.

...he says that when he orgasms he feels trashy & like a freak. He used to 'get around' quite alot in the hope he would feel loved he has told me. And even though we have been together for nearly a year and love each other very much he still has these feelings from his past. This is a very complicated situation because I want to make love to him and I don't know if by doing so I will bring on these feelings..I'm so confused..I try to talk to him about it but he keeps on pushing the subject away..He says he gets his satisfaction from seeing me satisfied during sex but the thing is that that goes both ways - I want to pleasure him so that he is satisfied. If somebody has been through this before or has some advice it would be appreciated.
Thankyou.
P.S This is a Gay Relationship and by 'recieving sex' I mean any type of sex not just penetrative.

My sister married someone who appreared to be the perfect guy after a 10 mths of living together. Just after marriage, he stopped wanting sex ( 3 times in the last yr - I am serious).

He is moody and some days barely talks to her, yet when they are out not only is he the life of the party, but he is also very flirtatious with other women. Needless to say he drinks till he is paralytic - and states to everyone how much he loves his wife - its pathetic.

He asked her to give up her job, she is a glorified house keeper as he keeps tight control over her movements and is very demanding with the household chores.

How can a man of 39 not want sex? I know that there must be an underlying psychological problem but how do I help her....?

Personally I think she should pack her bags and go, but my sister is a very low key quiet person, all she wanted in life was a family.

I have asked her to get counselling and a job to start. But what about him? Should I suggest a detective?

I'm kinda with this girl, but not really (we went out once and have really stopped calling eachother). I anticipate being single and looking soon and want to flirt with girls. B4 this girl I'm talking about, I never had a girl friend, let alone a girlfriend, and never flirted or anything.

Teach a shy guy how... to impress, do i say she lookin good in dat dress, or do i talk about the way i feel when i look at her chest, i ain't like that i'm different from the rest, cuz i'm all about showing girls respect!

About 6 years ago my husband had an affair with my best friend. I was the better person and stuck it out with my husband, wanting to give my children the life I didn't have. I even tried to work things out with her. We talked every once in a while but pretty much were just acquantances, it was just to painful.
I found out a couple of months ago that she called him and told him how much she loved him and missed him! I asked him how many times they slept together and he claims just once and acts as surprised as I am that she is doing this.
Well she called again and I sat there and listened to him tell her, 'I love my family and this was all just a mistake", she was hurt and crying. Should I have sympathy for her? Should I feel bad?? I hate her so much right now!
Now everytime she drinks she calls my husband asking him to leave me and the kids. I am getting so sick of it!
She won't even talk to me and tries to be sneaky about it.
I am about ready to just leave him!
Advice ??

Many times in my life a women has started a power battle of the sexes and it has become very irratating. I understand that women sometimes have to stand up because they are being treated unfairly because they are women, but I have had women get mad at me because I tried to help them with something and they got offended because they thought I was only helping them because she was a girl. Just over everyday stuff like helping her move something. If women would not start that battle over everyday stuff it would not be such a big deal I guess... Or maybe it is just this one women I know who does it alot. Basicaly my question is to women who start this battle about who is better men or women.

My sister has been off and on with a guy for about 5 years. When she's off with him she is with all kinds of other men. But the problem is, when she is off with him, he comes to me. I am a married woman and he has on more then one occasion tried to sleep with me and tells me he's in love with me. MY SISTER KNOWS ALL THIS! Well, they have now been ON for about 6 months and for the second time they are engaged. They are getting married!!! I feel hurt by this. Why should she marry him knowing that he doesn't respect me or truly love her. It hurts me. I am not one to judge other people or not support my family but this is really bothering me. How should I feel??
