Is it possible for a divorced mom of three to find an intelegent, mature man, who is actually interested in a commited relationship? I have not had much luck, and I am getting dicouraged. I am self sufficant, a good mom, pay my own way, am well educated, and I don't think I am ugly. All I am looking for is the same, in a man. (Only, obviously, a good dad, lol.) I believe in finding love that lasts a life time, and always starting out as friends, so as not to rush things. I am 26, and I am begining to really believe that all the men that have the afore mentioned qualities are either married by now, or gay. Any encouraging stories would be well apprieciated, ladies, lol.

We are both 26 years old and went to college together. We met freshmen year in our first class and hit it off ever since. During her divorce she would call me almost every day and I would help her work through her grief. Now that she is going through the divorce she is living with her mom and sister, and she claims they are also very controlling. She will not return my call for about a week and a half and say she was too busy to talk and that her sister does not like her to talk on the phone around her. However, I think maybe she really just does not want to be my friend anymore. My car was broken and I had to call a taxi to pick me up from work, so I called my friend to chat since I had been waiting for about three hours at that point.. We chatted for about twenty minutes and then she said to give her a call when I got home because she wanted to make sure I was okay. I called her when I got home, but she has been to busy to call me back since that night. Is she tired of me?

If I'd ever go looking for someone... I live in a mostly roman-catholic country, but I myself am a non-believer (official at that, says so in the birth register) and have excommunicated myself. Too bad I can't undo my baptism vows, but ok. Well, is a different religion or any at all a stress factor on maintaining a relationship or not ?

I made it very clear in my e-mails to her that if I was going to do her a favor by bringing her over her and marrying her, part of the deal was she had to be in the buff at all times. I do let her get dressed before she goes outside the house, as long as what she wears is sexy enough to suit me.

My friend Ed who is 35 and whom I have known since 1992 has changed dramatically to the point I dont even talk to him anymore. He has a major drinking problem as he is at the bar at least 5 out 7 days a week. He has major health problems and gout. He also doesnt have a good relationship with his family as both parents are dead. He has been getting involved with this 22 year old trailor trash crack whore stripper who is a drug user and has spent time in jail. She treats him as her sugar daddy but he cant leave he as he has no self confidence to find Has my friend hit rock bottom?another woman. Now he says she had a baby and he says it could be his. The baby is 2 months old and he hasnt got a DNA test. Now, is Ed lying to me about the baby being his? He said she was having sex with 3 other guys regularly besides him. Wouldnt he have gotten the test by now? Is he starving for attention? Is he seeking my help? I just got married and bought a home. He has lately been slanderous about me

Your friends and family pick at all the bad things about your ex. Or does it help keep your chin up when they start the cliche "you can do so much better " ? I know that sh*t ain't working for me.

A couple of days ago, my boyfriend stated to me, after a lack of sleep (about 8 hours in the last 2 days for me), "Wow, your eyes really Do get dark, Wow... it's looks like someone punched you in the eyes or something" I mean what the hell right!!???... I told him how much that had hurt me, and he just keeps repeating over and over and over again, "look, I didn't mean it how you took it, sorry"... over and over and over again... but he doesn't even do a Damn thing about it!!! you can't just take away a comment like that to someone... especially your own g/f whom you say you care for and love!!!... I mean, there a TON of others ways to state it other than " Wow, it looks like somebody punched you in the eyes or something" (might sound funny now to some, but it's not when you're already insecure about that and then 2 hear that coming form him!...it hurt Alot! I'm a WOMAN!, I won't Ever forget he said that!, I'm not sure I'll ever feel comfortable around him again after his comment... :-(

i have obtained an emergency order of protection against my spouse. I have 3 children from a prior relationship. At my husbands request I am not employed. I have worked for him, he is self employed, for a year. He has abused me physically, emotionally and mentally for a year. He has cut me off finacially. I have found proof that he has this same pattern of abuse. He has been married three times, the second marriage lasted less than a year also. I have talked with his second wife who also had to get an order of protection against him. I haven't any financial resources and I'm backed in a corner. I have been granted temporary possesion of the marital residence. He has filed for the same and for divorce. I believe he should be punished for his pattern of abuse, domestic abuse is against the law. He is finacially secure and my name isn't on any of the property, ie. house, car etc. Any advice in my situation is appreciated. Can I bring criminal charges for the abuse?

I have meet this girl a Little while ago, and we are dating and in love. I do everything i poss. can to make her happy, I take her out to dinner, I buy her ross'es on special occasion, We are together when ever we can be. I have surprises for her allot, and she loves them. Today I figured I could take her iceskating just to have fun time for ourselvs. On new years, I waited in her room without her knowing with a budle of roses for her. Im truthful with her, and i would never hurt her. I was just asking if you guys think i should keep going the way that i am going, or do you think this is just something quick for right now ( puppy love )..
And let me remind you, that we do love eachother, We have had 1 little bad talk, but i was beeing honest and didn't lie about it. and it was in the past many years ago... but that is over and done with now..
So please post if you guys think that I should keep going with what i have..

I never have. It sounds like a good idea, but I don't see how you can stay in position if you keep sliding around.
