If you are her friend then it will be a bit easier as you know a bit about her, but if you don't know her then try to be her friend first, find out what she's really like then make you mind up if you love her.

dude. The first thing you should NOT do is ask on an internet forum. Most of us don't know what we're talking about anyway.
My advice. Just give it a shot and see what happens. No big deal.
I'm usually upfront about it. I get into a conversation, make her laugh, than just ask her if she wants to get a cup of coffee or something.
But that's what I do. You gotta figure out what works for you.
