If I'd ever go looking for someone... I live in a mostly roman-catholic country, but I myself am a non-believer (official at that, says so in the birth register) and have excommunicated myself. Too bad I can't undo my baptism vows, but ok. Well, is a different religion or any at all a stress factor on maintaining a relationship or not ?

Can be. Say you fell in love with an islamic guy, and his bible said to KILL all unbelivers, you might have a problem.

Well it can affect relationships like the this one guy I was with I found out he was agnostic, but he just became that way... like I he was a christian, but just barely & he decided to change his beliefs & not tell me til two months later... it can change things, but it's best that theother person knows about it instead of you just springing it on them...
