I absolutely hate that! That goes along with another of my pet peeves, where someone asks you a question, you answer, then they tell you "No, that cant be right". That drives me nuts!!

Answer with stupid or outragious responses, and then when the person says something say "well it deosn't matter cause don't listen to anyway. OR you can just say that when they ask.

just don't answer them and tell him or her the reason why. just the fact that whatever you tell them wasn't what they wanted to hear
