My boyfriend have been going out for 7 months or so and these past few days he's been more quiet than he usually is (he's usually pretty shy anyway, but he DOES know how to talk ;]) He hasn't looked very happy around school, and I'm afraid something's wrong that he's not telling me about. I was going to call him after school today but decided against it because I heard that trying to talk to guys about their feelings is sometimes a lost cause. I want to try to get back to our normal conversations and whatnot, but I don't know what's going on with him. I feel as if he doesn't open up to me very much.

I had a problem like this before with him and I emailed him about it and the next day he was 100% better and was like that for all of December and the end of the November. Now it feels as if he's back to what he was doing before. I emailed him asking him if there was anything wrong and didn't email me back. I just want to know how to talk to him about it without seeming overly nosy.

I am literally marrying my best friend. I have no sisters, just three brothers. This is a more traditional wedding, so no boys as "man" of honor. My closest friend is a guy, and I have a friend that is really nice and totally helpful (who is a girl). I have three cousins that could be... one is my roommate, but I don't really feel that close to her even though we are friends, and I'm even less close to her sister (cousin #2). The third cousin is my closest cousin, but I never really talk to her much, just on family occassions and we enjoy each other's company then. I'm also close to my mom, but I want her to watch the ceremony rather than be in it, even though she's helping with plannining everything as well.

Is it permissable to just have a bunch of bridesmaids rather than one maid of honor and some bridesmaids? Or who/how should I pick my maid of honor?

Silly question – but here goes

My friend of mine has been on and off with a man for 10 years, meeting in their 20s. She is not attracted to him physically, but the man has been very good to her. He cleans, cooks, runs errands, and has been physically satisfying...But he can be sloppy, irritable, insecure, slothful, lazy, forgetful, unambitious, careless etc. He works, is very smart, but he will help you through your dreams, but he doesn’t have any of his own. She is alpha and he is beta.

In their 30s, they live together, and she is starting to develop an aversion to marriage. She is old fashioned, and believes love is a bumby ride. We have a lot of choices today. She has dated many others, but she always come back to him, and she seems to be unlucky in love with all others. She is attractive and smart - but the fit never seems to be right.

So the question is: would you stay with someone you weren’t really digging – if they truly, deeply, unconditionally loved you?

I am 33 yrs old and my husband is 39.This is my third marriage (but i married same man twice) and i have two children twins daughter and son that are 9 yrs old from my last marriage.My husband has 3 children from his previous marriage ages 15 , 10 , and 7.I was pregnant just about 6 months along and i just lost the baby.I was stressed out through the entire pregnancy because of his kids and mine fighting every weekend.Husband was no help in the matter in controling his kids!They broke things and fought with my kids no-stop.His ex.wife was a nightmare she harrassed me and called me racial slurs for being white.I am so fed up with my husband just ignoring everthing!I filed for divorce this morning Why does he not get it or understand why?

My husband has not seen his step daughter, but we need a good reason to have social services intervene and pay a visit? He's already petitioning to go back to court, but what can we do personally to get the mother's attention? to 3 years w/ 1 being suspended in a correctional facility for criminal wrecklessness. This is his 2nd felony. The first was a DUI. This time, when his now ex-wife told him that she was going to divorce him (she was having an affair with his best friend) he got angry, upset a few things but started to calm down. Meanwhile, she took herself and the kids to another room. My nephew evidentally fired a 22 rifle in the opposite direction while trying to clean it. She called the cops and he got arrested. At the trial, the prosecutor brought up his juvenile record and his attorney didn't fight for him very hard. Who is ok with his sentencing?

when i was walking out to my car i saw my bf just sitting in his car.i went over to see what was wrong.he had a very intense look on his face and was on his cell.as soon as i opened my mouth to say hi he shot me a angry look and waved his hands at me to keep quiet.after a few mins of him listening + saying ok,yep,no in a very monotone voice to the person on the phone he hung up.without saying a word to me he left his car and walked to his appt.i kep asking who was that and he just ignored me.when we got to his door he would not let me in and got very angry with me and said leave me alone i don't want to talk about it.later i called him + he seemed calmed down but was vague about what happened.it seems "sue" told him to come get his stuff(keys,clothes)that she still had but not to come when she was home,she would leave his stuff in a bag on the steps.why did my bf react to me in a argry way?why after 10 mons does she still have his stuff?as far as i know he never told her he was datting me,maybe she found out and got pissed thinking they would get back together.i worry about this becuase my bf left his last wife for this old gf maybe shes at her old tricks again.what do you guys think?

Here's the deal: Guy's mom introduces him to girl. Guy seems great but is only in town for two weeks. Girl goes on 4 dates with guy. Guy tries to put moves on girl, but girl turns down sex. Guy and girl go on one more date. On guy's final day in town, girl eats lunch with guy and his parents. Guy says he will call, but days go by and guy doesn't call. After a few days, guy's mom asks girl, did guy call? Girl says no. Girl goes into complete despair and swears off men forever. Girl tells friends they were right--guy was no good. Monday comes. Girl is recovering. Guy's mom calls girl. Says she had long talk with guy. She wants girl to meet with her to talk. Should girl meet with guy's mom or should girl tell guy's mom she has moved on?

So I was friends with this girl for 6 years. All she's ever been interested in is herself. She thinks that everyone should kiss her *** and do whatever she wants. Whenever I've had problems with anything, she says I'm just using them to get attention (even if they're serious and I could have used support).
Recently, I called her to see how she was doing and she was just being quiet like nothing was wrong and basically making me dig for information. I asked her if she was okay, and she said yeah.
Later, I got a nasty email from her telling me that her boyfriend broke up with her and that her cousin had died from ODing on drugs. She tried to make me look like the bad guy though. Was I right to point out what she did and tell her how I felt about it? She freaked out and called me a ***** and pointed out that no one can stand me (even though I'm friends with anyone I meet).
What should I do? We haven't talked since our last fight, but should I even try to stay friends with her?

My girlfreind of 2 months recently broke up with me. I still really like her and I realized that I did some stuff to like get her mad and like I pleaded with her I would change but she still said that she wants to be just friends. He thought the paperwork was completed and come to find 2 1/2 yrs later - he's still married. Why did they let us apply for a marriage license to begin with if his divorce wasn't final? What happens now- would we get charged for medical fraud and tax fraud since we were never technically married? Could he get in trouble with the law?
