I was at a dinner party and they kept talking about who wasn't married and how to get them married. I said that everyone shouldn't and need not get married. I am married going through a divorce but I still believe that it works for some people and may for me again. But that wasn't the point. Marriage isn't for everyone.

well, i'm going to the states soon for a semester and there's this guy i like (might be "the one" lol u never know). anyway, he's in NY, and i will be in MA, so when he comes to visit me, of course he'll stay in my dorm room ( i would never let him sleep at a hotel since he won't let me do that when i go to NY). the thing is, if my room is single, there going to be one bed, and if it's double, there's still going to be one bed and the other one will be my roommate's who most probably will be in the room. i completely trust him, and i am sure he will never do anything to hurt me, but i am muslim (pretty liberal, but STILL muslim), and i am sure i would feel pretty bad if i slept in the same bed. i mean, it would be great to have him next to me, and cuddle, but i'm not sure if falling asleep with him is a the brightest idea. what do you reckon?

she never called once and made the relationship onesided and hung out with guys too much, I called her and told her about how I feel but in a horrrrrible way, it sounded like I was giving her new policies it was our first fight and now its over. I never told her how I rreally feel, should I tell her I love her or will I scare her away? I told I agree we should just be friends and I understand why she broke up. but I don't want to be friends..

I know most guys stay away from a girl that has kids with her but I find that every time I take my little girl to the store with me (she is only 6 months and I am in love with her...usually carry her on my shoulders to show her off) it seems like every female approaches us and makes some sort of conversation usually asking about her age or name...are they flirting or really interested in my little princess?

My boyfriend of two years is lovely, but it's clearly not going to work out. A year ago, I developed feelings for a friend (who I'd always thought was hot but didn't really get to know until then); we flirted a lot but it was obvious nothing was going to happen while I was still with my boyf. He backed off - unsurprisingly! - and we're still friends but a bit wary of each other. After this I decided to make a real effort with my boyfriend. I was very stressed (difficult time with other friends, work etc) and I felt pressure to make the relationship work. My boyf and I moved in together 6 months ago but he's now moving out so we can "see how it goes". I think it's doomed - he's a lovely person but doesn't want sex and he's not a great communicator - we're just very different... And I can't stop thinking about the friend I like. I feel terrible for leading this guy on by flirting when I had a boyf - if and when boyf and I split up, how can I convince my friend I'm serious about him?

I am 24 and got involved with a woman of 35 years old, divorced three kids who told me she was abused when she was younger. Me and her both got involved sexually and I became attached to her, she also had another bloke who was seeing another woman at the same time.

After a year of sleeping with her I really cared for her and we went out and things I explained to her that I loved her which I did I really cared for her but she said she felt more for the other guy.

Emotionally I have been a wreck ever since and I don't normally feel like this what makes it harder is we used to work together and people who work around her say that she used me. Would it be too harsh to suggest that I was abused? A cased of the abused becoming the abuser in her case? It's been 4 months since contact because I told other man she was sleeping around because I thought he was using her!! So confused, abuse or not?

My wife has been invited with other work colleagues to a new year party at a colleagues house. We were not getting on at the time of the invite which was early in december. She only told me two days ago that she is going so I asked her why she does not want me to go. She said that she was p****d off with me at the time and said she would go alone. I said whats wrong with me going now, since we are ok with each other now. She avoided the question and is determined to go alone. 60 people are going. My wife has never been out without me, hates parties, hates going into crowded rooms alone becuse she is shy. So I am confused here. Any ideas anyone? I would love to know whats going on.

I am concerned my best friend is going crazy. We have been friends since we were 13 (10 years) and she has in the past year started thinking she is dating Lucifer, I believe she believes it, but now she is saying that she is marrying him in some hell ceremony. I have a son with my ex.We split up when my son was a baby because he could never be honest with me - he lied and decieved me. He is a total coward when it comes to emotions and commitment.
For 11 years he was too scared to see his son because that would involve "commitment" and emotional attachment.

We met up in february '06 and he told me he was moving to Canada in the Autumn and renting a basement from a lady friend.

He actually agreed to see his son and it went really well. They have been seing each other and emailing They are building a good relationship. This is great as my son does need to get to know him.
He had an affair with a married woman at work 3 years ago and is still obsessed with her. I started having feelings for him again but it didnt get physical. He went to Canada in July and has only just revealed that he actually married the lady.
He hasnt told her that I'm his ex and he also hasnt told her that he has a son. She is is coming to live in the UK.

why do i get so annoyed with him - we live together and have been together for 5 years. i get annoyed when he goes out with his friends and i dont want to be like that - the other night he went out and i was supposed to pick him up yet he got a lift home off a girl who he his friends with - he didnt let me no just turned up and said he had a lift home. he goes out about once or twice a week yet it really bothers me and i dont want to be like that - i want to say see ya later have a nice time - i need help i know i sound like a loon but why cant i just let him have time with his friends like i do without it bothering me.
i should add most of the time he is the most wonderful boyfriend but the minute he says he is going out when i have no plans i get so annoyed and think why does he want to go out than stay in with me???

He doesn't want children- and he has a big excuse for that,
He always say something for any question, nothing reasonable to me based what had lived in the past, but may sound ok for others.
Even for my self if i wasn't in the situation.
WHy I dont leave him? HE likes this S**** life that we live?
or he just waiting for me to leave... HE knows i dont have place to go i don't family and friends who can really get me home place.

i have been with her 4 years and she is gorgeous and the nicest girl ive ever met. i figure any girl i get with from now on is gonna be nowere near as nice as she was. i keep thinkin about what kinda lad she could be with if she wanted and its tearin me to pieces someone with more money a better career etc. out of all honesty i am a good lookin guy(please note i have extremely low self esteem at the minute and do not mean to come across boastful) and have been told so on many an occasion by various other girls yet no matter how hard i try i have no confidence what so ever when it comes to talkin to new girls i just cant bring myself to do it i always assume straight away they have no interest in me at all and dont try. i dont no what im goin to do because if i cant find it in me to talk to other girls how am i ever goin to forget about her better still knowing she could go out tomorrow and have who she wants. i am in a real mess and i need some advice very much appreciated john r
