I like to make a gift basket for a quick meal that reflects my friends' tastes. For instance, italian food--
organic sundried tomatoes, a fine italian bread from a specialty baker, organic pasta, extra extra virgin olive oil, italian cookies, biscotti or cake, and a really nice bottle of wine.

I got something cool, its a pen that also has a laser pointer and a USB port on the inside to download stuff off of my computer. This gadget looks like its out of one of the James Bond movies because it looks just like a normal pen. Guys like gadgets.

Um, depending on what you are looking for, something to last or something that can be eaten right then and there? Nothing says it better then food, because it is said (i'm not saying its completely true) that men are driven by their stomachs =D But I would say something that everyone can enjoy, a basket of goodies (Like cookies/pies/baked goods) or even bake your own cake/pie. Something everyone can enjoy =D
