Ive been married twice now. Both marriages have more of less suffered the same consequences. ONe of my mistakes that peers and family memebers have pointed out to me is that im too good and give in right away. In my marriages i would always try to keep my partner happy, giving her all the love, attention, freedom, trust,finance. But when they started spoiling on me, i couldnt set them straight! They got accustomed to the way i treated them. And then i was no longer the man of the house!! Well that gradually led to into considerations of divorce. Which i did. Is it me? or has it been that ive encountered the wrong women of society?

My boyfriend used to like going out a lot more. Now he is only interested in watching DVD's or cooking dinner at his place. It is nice to do those sort of things but we are in our early 20's and I feel like we should be enjoying the best years of our life. I have a passion for dancing and he refuses to take me dancing or dance with me at functions. Am I the problem? Could it be that he is no longer proud to be with me? He used to say he loved going out with me and "showing me off" - is it that he no longer feels that way? Please can I get a male perspective on this?!!!!

I have been in an affair for the last 2 years and i'm gonna leave to another distant country to continue my undergraduate studies for 4 years.My girl friend is 2 years younger to me and we cant live without each other at all.She is scared that she wont be able to handle the situation when i'm abroad for 4 years(but i'll be 2wice a year).So she wants to take a break or to break up coz she knows that its so hard for us to live without each other and she says i'll mix up my studies and flunk.Then i started tellin her that i wont go abroad and do a degree in sri lanka.(which is our country).But she doesn want me to do that either coz of her.She is sayin im gonna miss a better opportunity.Both of us are very emotional lovers.She is still 17 and I'm 19Tell me the best possible things to continue a long distance affair! Other fact is my parents are unaware of this.Her mom only knows this. My parents are too conventional(remember we are south asians).

Plz help us!

Ok. So there's my question, but the reason that made me asked, is deeper. I have a relative that has been in the USA for over 16 years now, and when I recived the letter, I noticed it had a P.O.Box. What does this actually stand for? Is it a rental thing where you can recive your mail? Or is it the mail box that you keep outside your house in which the postman places the mail?
Please help me out, because whenever I wrote her, I never recived an answer. Which I supposse means that she does not recive my letter. [-o<

My brother has been fighting cancer for about 7 years now. My sister was diagnoised with throat cancer a month ago and then if that was not enough my others sisters husband after 39 years of marriage told her he want a divorce. My spirits are low and I know I need to help them through all of this but I am having a hard time dealing with it all myself....I have always been a strong person but I feel depressed about it and need suggestions on how to help them.

my other friends say i'm too nice to him... i've told him more than once that i will only like him as a friend. then for a while he seemed to stop following me... but now... he started again...

whenever he buys me stuff or treats me, i feel guilty, and he says that's how he wants me to feel... actually i would like it if he stopped... but i dont want him to feel bad... because i think he's a bit lonely...

i asked him what he wants from me, since i've already told him that i won't like him more than a friend... and he says he doesn't know... it actually scares me... because i don't know what he wants from me... maybe it's normal to do something for the person you like without asking something in return? yet.... guilt..

i just think i'll never like him that way.... but i don't want to hurt him ..

I tend to be too aware of when I'm looking at someone when talking to them, and after about 2 to 3 seconds I'll flick my eyes away then come back.

But I was reading a self-help communication book and it says that I should keep direct eye contact even when the woman has stopped talking...is that correct?

Is it possible that a guy who is a close friend is afraid of screwing something up between us? He has told me this before, and I didn't initiate the conversation, that he didn't want to loose me as a friend. His relationships always crash and burn, and he ends up hating his ex (she usually hates him too). Do guys always see things as "I don't want to date you, therefore I'm not that into you?" or is it possible to have strong feelings and just be afraid of loosing a friend?

My brother's 2 years older than me, and up until now, we've got on really well, probably better than most brothers and sisters do. But, recently he's been very moody with me, eg. one minute he'll hug me and the next he'll curse at me and say really hurtful things when I haven't even done anything wrong.
Can boys get mood swings?
I've tried to confront him and ask him to stop being like this, but he just ignores me and continues at it.
What should I say to him? What do you think is up with him?
Is this normal for everyone?

Its been 6 months since we broke up and i lost our baby 3 months ago. I am still very much in love with him. I would like to go back to a normal lifestyle and meet someone new, but everytime i do so i feel like im cheating on him. Sometimes secretly i wear my ring again. We also happen to work together and i dont want to give up on my job. I think he might be seeing someone else, and the idea kills me. I know its over between us and we didnt break up in good terms. We do talk to each other but its only when he need a file or when i need it back.

He made sure he got his other kids something. The kids aren't mine nor do they live with us. He pays ove r$900 in child support money and always telling me he don't have any money. Should the child support hes paying be decreased because of the new baby? do you need a lawyer for that? The kids hate me because i married their dad.

About 3 months ago i moved out of a house i shared with my nephew and his mother. i moved into my own apartment. My brother joseph passed away on 6/15/2005 and he was also living with us. i stayed thinking i was helping to raise my 6yr old nephew who was 5 at the time his father died. Well his mother became verbally abusive and just plain out mean. my self esteem was so low that i stayed and about a month before i moved out she told me the only reason i was there was because of a promise she made to my brother. that hurt because i was paying half of 850.00 rent and paying for half the utilities i could not use the phone. if my family called she had something negative to say. but now that i am gone she is welcomed by my mother and family. i can not see my nephew because she does not like me. and even my 6 yr old nephew tells me my mommy say i can not see you anymore. it hurts alot because i did so much for her and now my family has turned against me for leaving. what do i do?
