I have been sleeping with this girl on and off for about 4 months. Last night I found out that a few years ago she had sex with a black guy. I don't believe in that, so I told her to get out of my house and don't ever call me again. Was I too harsh?

You know--you are probably the most unrespectable person in the world. Forget the black/white thing---you tossed aside a girl who you were only dating for 4 months, already sleeping with, and didn't know everything about her. What did you think was going to happen. Did you think that after the little amount of time you knew her you wouldcatch up on her entire past history? Was she supposed to know that you had such racist tendencies? It is guys like you who use women for your own enjoyment without reguards to personal feelings and commitment that really make it difficult for more respectable, caring guys to get a fair shake. So I say congratulations on saving this poor girl from a lifetime of hurt and pain, and yourself from a good girl who had relations with a man not of your choosing. If she had slept with 500 white guys you would not have had a problem? Why don't you make a list of all the things a girl can do in her past, have them read, sign, and swear to it previous to the relationship beginning. That way when you find out she had a Hispanic lover 5 years ago you can dump her for lying to you and not because you are a close-minded, uneducated, unrealistic bigot.

Keep in mind that if she did sleep with a black guy that was 'before your time'. And maybe you should have let her know from the start that you do not believe in people of the opposite race getting together. Hopefully she won't take it too badly.

To everyone his own I guess. Personally I do find that a wee bit racist, but different strokes for different folks! Think how you would feel if someone dumped you because you did something they didn't agree with, but that you thought was OK. At least she told you about it, and didn't hide things from you.

On the other hand, I think you may have been looking for an excuse to break it off anyway, and used this as your scape-goat.

Yes of course.Besides,,that was then,,not happening now when she is with you.Color shouldnt be an issue. This is almost 2007.People just have different preferences,,thats all. Some people dont see color. What makes a man is his charactor. Now apologize please. You may have tossed aside a decent girl. You most likely have hurt her feelings & that she did not deserve. She was honest with you right?

Yes. That is not only because you are racist but because you should not let the past of some you love get in the way of your relationships. After all, black or not she didnt cheat on you so your reaction was wrong to me and unfair.
She should not have to appologise for anything and if your views on mixed relationships are ''over reaction.''

What makes you different from this "guy" except the pigment in your skin? We are all human, we are all the same physicaly....you may loose something great if you continue to be reacist. Times they are a changin! Don't expect het to talk to you again and if she actually does you have alot of making up to do!

Yes, you were too harsh. On the bright side, she's probably better off without you.

Completely your choice, I had a girl stop talking to me cause she found out I used to bang strippers. Couldn't really do much about it, so I went back to the boobies bars.

Anytime you share bed-mates with another person (regardless of race) you become susceptible to a number of diseases.

If you normally share bed-mates without this concern, then you probably did react too harshly.
