there is this guy who says he is interested in dating me but i am not sure if he is serious. he knows where i work so he comes down to see me but he hasn't asked for my nuber yet. what is that about? the other day he came down, i was a little busy but was trying to hurry up so i could speak to him but he told me he was tired and had to leave and yes he left without my number again!!!!!!!!!!. plz someone tell me whats going on there? thing is he seems self assured so i find it difficult to believe little me makes him nervous!

Instead of worrying about how serious he is why not just bite the bullet yourself and get his number from him.
You be the one to go for it, get his number give him a call and ask him out. Its not hard, if he says no then at least you know he was messing you around from the beginning and is not worth it anyway.
If he says yes, which from the sounds of it is most likely then you guys go out and have some fun. Stop worrying about all the serious stuff, that comes later just have fun for now.

Next time he comes to where you work act EXTRA busy and tell him that you can't speak to him now. Write down your number and ask him to call you later when you finish work for a chat.
Simple. Maybe he does need a nudge in the right direction. Some people look confident but aren't really.
