My girlfriend and I dated for 2.5, she broke up with me unexpectedly 1 month before Chritmas with no clear reason(by that I mean no one did anything wrong, there was no 1 thing that broke us up) She has never remained in contact with any of her ex-boyfriends, but she say's she does not want to lose contact with me, still wants to hear of the good things going on in our seperate lives etc... She's even gone as far as using the "friends" word, although of course I wouldn't be like a normal friend.My question is why does she want to keep me at arms length, why stay in contact? What does this mean?

Plz frnds go thru my problem, my problem is genuine & i need a solution .i was in love with a guy named Amit &really wanted to marry him at the earliest, he too loved me like carzy.we were in a relationship for 4.5 yrs, due to his job comitmnts &other family related issues our marriage got delayed & we started arguing over marriage and this led to a miscommunication & we werent on talking terms for over 3 months.&during this time i really got maad at him for not returning my calls/emails, i asked a very good frnd of mine if he was willing to marry me (im under tremendous pressure from my family to get married) my frnd knew all abt my relationship and he knew it wanst working since the last 4-5 months &said yes to me..Later i informed Amit abt my decison & he is very sad for ignoring me & wants to get back to me.I cant see him cry.i luv him way toomch 2 c him cry.the guys in my life are very very good,and the worst part is parents of both the guys know abt me.plzz help!suggest a soln

2) Bless him he was off key on the high notes but he put his heart into that

at least one daily since we have been together. He wanted to break up with my I said ok after I agreed he called me back the same night crying and said say he had changed his mind that he was really in love with me Last week he said that he wanted to see other people said ok. than he called me back the same night and said that he wanted me to spend the weekend with him.
He spent the weekend with another girl he said he wanted to be with her but after the weekend was over he called me back saying that he wanted to be with me. I am a virgin and have never has sex with anyone. He said again that he wanted to see other people I said ok he said that I could see other people also but that neither one of us could have sexual relations with other people. This boy is really confusing me I am 17 and so is he help!!

- I was walking towards him, and I looked at him. He looked at me but he looked to the ground really fast.

- When he has question and he will ask me, he will not make eye contact.

- He talks really loud to his friend so I can hear him, and start shouting at someone.

- One time he put his head down and said something random while looking at me.

Is he shy? He hardly talks to me, he talks to the people I talk but not me. I want to talk him more, but when I do he answers very serious.

First, I am not GAY. I have had this married friend for 5 Years, and now after Christmas, and some fighting, and lots of talking, my wife has been convinced that me experimenting with my best frined is our best interest. She has obviously been talking to my friends wife at length. My best friend admitted to me that he has been in love with me since the day we met. And now he wants to do me up. I have never done anything like that before, and I am numb over the whole topic allready. He swears he loves me, and that together we can all get along, and that our wives will be better friends too. I think I am being led into some wierdo stuff, and now I am even looking at my wife different. Whats next, our wives doing it, or worse my frined and MY WIFE!!! NO F'n way. WHAT DO I DO TO RESOLVE THIS. By the way, I do Love my friend too, but like I love family, I have never thought of touching him or kissing, or anything, now he wants to kiss me, and who knows what else. And my wife said GO AHEAD!

Problem is, she knows me too well, she knows me so well that she knows I've slept with her best friend and enemy (we had a circle of close friends)...well, i've kinda fallen for her, and we are great friends i think, we get along, and she has had a string of back luck with guys treating her like **** and I think I would be the perfect mate for her, except for the problem I just mentioned. I'm very mature for her and she is exceptionally mature compared to her friends....problem is, she doesn't know I have feelings for her, and I think she probably doesn't feel the same way, but is there any method on how to block this or to pass through it? Is there any chance? I think we'd be great, but I believe there isnt' any hope because she knows me too well, and I guess I'm a hypocrite myself because I've done the same thing with a best friend of mine, not dating her because I knew too much about her. My question is, is there any chance for us, any tricks to getting this girl? females help!!

I've been hearing various people including my sig, and various posters say that if you are smart, attractive and can "afford" to have children, (and are good with children) then it is selfish not to have them. Someone please explain this to me. It really doesn't make sense to me. I thought children were supposed to be some big joy, not something you feel obligated to do. or is it that no one particularly wants to have children, just simply makes the best of them when they arrive?

Every holiday that rolls around the mother in law assumes we will be spending it with her. Xmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, etc...
At first I didnt mind since MIL is living by herself with her dog. But this year I see that my mom seemed hurt that we have spent consecutive holidays with the MIL.
Now that New years is rolling around MIL is already planning what to do before consulting us, because she just assumes that we will be with her.
I actually do not want to spend it with her or even my mom really but just me, my wife, and the baby. Also, I want to cut down on seeing my MIL, not entirely but less often than more.

How can I say this with tact and consideration? I am a straightforward person and usually just say it like it is and I think some people get offended. I also dont want the MIL to feel too lonely during the holidays its just I dont want to be the person along with my family to have to always brighten it for her.

Well this was after yesterday i called and went round to see her and she told me load of reasons why she broke up with me mainly moving apart we where together for 4 years it's been 6wks did not expect her to contact me we ended well apart from me keep asking why i moved out of our rented house but i wanted to stay friends she did to she is also dealing with anarexica and depression!!!!!!!!!

He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law, and it's near impossible to get a law job here if you've gone anywhere else. However, he's 42, has worked 7 years, and only makes about $40 grand a year. To me, this seems low for a SLU grad. I don't expect wealth, but why take out $100 grand in student loans if you're just going to make the same as a paralegal? Those loans arent paid off yet, either, and he's single with no dependents, and pays just $500 rent. He works in his brother's law firm, and the brother also pays for his daily lunch, as well as his parking. I'm concerned about our financial future if he has absolutely no ambition or gumption beyond what he needs to get by for himself. To me, a man who wants a wife & family works towards that NOW by making sure they will be provided for when the time comes. He seems to have given it no thought besides simply wanting it. What do you think?
