The way I've gone about choosing a unity candle, first dance, and last dance song, has been to google wedding and love songs, then to actually read the lyrics, and download the songs, and listen to them, and then when you find something you like, ask your fiance to also have a listen, and find something that you think relates to your feelings for one another, and to your relationship.

At my first wedding, I had the theme song from The Princess Bride by Mark Knopfler.
My friends had True Companion by Marc Cohn. Both were beautiful.
