I have a friend who is being emotionally blackmailed/forced to marry his cousin in pakistan. My friend did not have a problem with this at the age of 16 as he liked the girl, in many indian/pakistani families they like to marry withint the famil as in cousins. However as he has got older in his late 20's he regrets getting close to her as she has similar features as his mother and it makes him depressed. He does not want to marry her anymore and feels that he wont be able to communicate with her on the same level as he is from the UK and she is from pakistan. His parents are not listening and tell him to leave if he wants to bring an outsider into the family. IWhat should he do?

How can i mature and control my anger issues?

I dont want to be with her but we have 2 kids and she has already said she will fight me in court for them. When I first found out she apologized like crazy and swore never to do it again. I decided to get us into marriage counseling and we were into about our 3rd month when I found out she was still meeting him and her friend was covering for her. She would tell me she was meeting mary for drinks and I believed her. I love my wife but the image of her with that guy is killing me. I feel ugly and unimportant and my entire life is suffering because of it. I feel like everyone knows and is just laughing at me behind my back. I didn't go to Christmas celebrations this year because of that. I called my best friend after I found out and he started acting weird and I haven't talked to him since. Should I suspect him also?? I don't understand why she doesn't just leave me. I've asked myself and racked my brain trying to figure out what I did wrong and I just dont know. What do I do??

okay so me and my boyfriend want to have seven children together but not now.....later in life...

hes given me two build a bears...one named malachi and the other named hero...

for christmas i gave him a huge teddy bear and i named him kenneth....

me and him were talking about it and wouldnt it be cool if we gave each other tedddy bears until we got to seven and then kept the stuffed animals and give them to our children by name...

for example were going to have a boy named malachi so were going to give the teddy bear named malachi to him....

what do you think about this??

One of my best friends went through a pretty bad break-up, its 6 months later now and he can't get over his ex. She ruined his life badly.

Were both 23 year old college guys. Im not asexual - I have never had a girlfriend but now I guess I don't really want one anyways after seeing him (my friend) crushed by the opposite sex.

Since I never will date, will I really be missing out on anything or will I just be missing out on all that needless drama? They try to make romance look so good on TV I guess its not really like that?

Have you ever known anyone who is of dating age and has never had a girlfriend/boyfriend? Its a shame that were culturally programmed to want a romantic companion. My guess is that I won't really be missing out on anything, but I just want to make sure.

Don't you think it's kinda virtuous to go through life untouched and never romantically involved? Dosn't that build up strong self-discipline?

I've had this guy I like tell me that he was comin' to visit me, and he's stood me up twice now, without callin' me or anything...but i haven't confronted him about it, because it doesn't bother me much because he told me not to get attatched because he is a bad boyfriend...so I don't think I will confront him, but I think maybe i should, because maybe that's what he wants me to do?? I am getting divorced due to fault of my husband. There are no kids or asset/ liability to divide. Just the paper now. Should I file for Fault divorce or No-fault divorce? My husband admits his fault which broke this marriage. However, is one better for me than the other for future?

I am 16 turnin 17 in april...i hate home life i dont get along with my adopted mother..i really really want to move out when im 17...but i know they wont allow it...do i have to have their permission? i will tell them where im going...to my boyfriends..his mom already agreed...will they be able to stop me? i will stay in school and i will maintain my job...its not like im gunna get pregnant and dropout...im gunna continue my life i even plan to go to college but i have to get out of here...my parents forbid me to see my boyfriend...and if moving out is my only option i will....someone please tell me if my plan is going to work....can i leave this place?

Honestly, what is the impression of a person, female, who is divorced by the time they are 25? Is it all negative? Would she ever be able to find someone who wouldn't find her outrageously scarred and full of baggage? Or is it possible for someone to see past that divorce thing and realize it wasn't her fault?
And once dating again, how long do you wait before letting it out that you are in fact divorced already, without appearing to be hiding it?

What I am talking about is dating as far as a social get together between two people for whatever purpose. (You can go on a date with your date or mother or sister or best friend). But what I am talking about is if your purpose is that you want to know more about the persons over a period of time along with friendship until things start to get serious with one of them.

I like the idea of courtship and not prematurely commiting yourself to one person who you really dont know. You are their friend the whole time till it goes into deeper stages near engagement (which they ask for you exclusively to commit to them)...

What do you think about the multiple dating and about what I said about remaining friends (even if deeper feelings and romantic interest comes into play) until ya'll have all the info and experiences with each other to make a decision for exclusiveness?

For Christmas my grandma gave me, my mom, and my aunt and uncle a $50 to Wal-Mart. Well my mom just got a new job and she has lost a lot of weight and needs clothes that fit her. We were talking about it and she said that she needed new clothes and all she had was $50 to get them.So I gave mine to her. I went back into my room and being really jerkish i asked for it back. She gave it back but said that that was the lowest thing that I had ever done.
I have been trying to give it back because I feel so bad and she is deserving of tht gift card. What can I do that will make her take that card. 10 points to the first person to make that happen. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have many friends (all ages) and most of our families have been supportive. (His daughter hasn't spoken to us in 25 years.)
My husband is now retired, but I still need to work. There are people (young, female) at work who openly distain me because of my relationship. The ones who seem most ardent are under 30 and female. Why are young women so opposed to this marriage? What suggestions do you have for helping me cope with outright criticism of our marriage? Thanks!

You can't hardly find anything that isn't strapless unless you have it custom made. Even the rare dresses that do have straps of any kind are not flattering styles either.

Lately, I have been extremely depressed.
I mean, crying at the drop of a hat, over the littlest things... getting hurt easily. I can't even find happiness in the little things anymore.
I never feel happy.
People are always telling me to smile more and cheer up, when I don't even realize that they can tell I'm upset...
Why am I like this? I'm 17, and I've been through a lot in my life, but I really try not to think about it...
I don't have a boyfriend, and have been rejected plenty of times... This last one was pretty stupid, though. I find myself thinking about the person constantly. I don't know why. I shouldn't even like them.
The other day, I was even crying when a love song started playing, at the supermarket!
I'm so sensitive lately too. If even the littlest thing goes wrong, I start to cry and get extremely bummed out...
What's wrong with me?
Is this typical for a girl my age?
Or did I fall harder for this guy than I realized, and am feeling this way because of him?

I am dating a guy who is divorced with four children who live in a different state. Every month he sees them for a week. Whenever he is with the children he barely calls and tells me he is really busy with the kids. He may send a quick e-mail and say how busy he is and will talk to me later so I don't bother calling him. Does this sound odd?? Or is it logical that one guy taking care of four small children would be so busy that he chooses to wait a week or two to contact his girlfriend? I have discussed it with him and he just says that when he is with the kids he is running around crazy all day and is exhausted at night.

ok ... Im dating this Virgo guy guy for a month . I tell you he's the sweetest guy ever... until one day, he stopped calling me. So being a girl who follows the dating rules, I went on with my life even if I really like him to death! In other words I didn't even call him . 2 weeks had passed and I got a flower at work from him. telling me he really felt bad for not calling me and he wants to hang out coz he really felt bad. then I never heard from him again... it's been a week and I don't want to make a move by calling him. my question is:

My ex fiance and I broke up in June, it was ugly, he met someone in oct and was engaged two weeks later. He has been very mean and hateful ever since our breakup, he has said the cruelest things about me and even refused me to see his daughters (6 & 8) which really hurt them. I have stayed away, but the girls still call, they live with their mom 2 hrs away. Xmas eve they called they wanted to see me, their mom said yes, but i said not unless the dad agrees, he always forbid it before, but he agreed this time, he got a dui recently maybe that turned him nice, he agreed to let me go get them and see them, he was even nice and thanked me, he is nice to me at work now too, i know his fiance now hates me, and she doesn't like him near me, my interest is the girls, they love me and i love them, do i get close to them again, or is he going to turn on me again, why is he suddenly so nice, he has been with her since oct, she hates me, why is he being nice now, should i talk to him.
