Lately, I have been extremely depressed.
I mean, crying at the drop of a hat, over the littlest things... getting hurt easily. I can't even find happiness in the little things anymore.
I never feel happy.
People are always telling me to smile more and cheer up, when I don't even realize that they can tell I'm upset...
Why am I like this? I'm 17, and I've been through a lot in my life, but I really try not to think about it...
I don't have a boyfriend, and have been rejected plenty of times... This last one was pretty stupid, though. I find myself thinking about the person constantly. I don't know why. I shouldn't even like them.
The other day, I was even crying when a love song started playing, at the supermarket!
I'm so sensitive lately too. If even the littlest thing goes wrong, I start to cry and get extremely bummed out...
What's wrong with me?
Is this typical for a girl my age?
Or did I fall harder for this guy than I realized, and am feeling this way because of him?

I was very depress because I was very unhappy too, talking with a therapist helped me out a lot to figure out what was going on, maybe someone at school, they are confidential and just saying everything you feel makes you feel a lot better.

It seems like you have strong feeling for this guy. But you are trying to tell yourself you don't. You must deal with your issues and not put them away at the time they happen. Because then you will get confuse and don't know what the problem is. Looks like this is what's going on with you. It's hard to end a relationship and the younger you are the more difficult it is. It's okay to cry but you need to know what you are really crying about. So you can begin the healing process. You cant' hide behind your problems bring it out and bring it out truthfully. Don't lie to yourself, you will never get understanding. Things will not always go our way but we can go on in a better way. Hang in there and be strong. You can get pass this. There is many things ahead waiting to happen for you. Change that sad love song into a LOVE SONG.

It is very common for your age or both girls and boys. Your body is growing, but more than that, your emotions are dictated by your hormones. There is nothing wrong with you. You may even have some type of depression and need to see a Dr. if you start feeling like you don't want to go on anymore or start wanting o hurt yourself you might want to seek help. More than likely you are just going through normal life changes. Good luck and lets us know how things are going soon.

Hormones at your age can drive you bonkers, so I'm betting that it has more to do with that than anything else. Try to just ride the wave and maybe distract yourself when you get too low. I used to lose myself in a good book back when I was in high school. It helped A LOT.
Another thing would be birth control pills. Are you on them? My daughter is and I blame most of her depression and moodiness on them. She's on her 4th different one in 2 years, trying to find a pill that will work FOR her instead of AGAINST her emotions. She's 17 too, and has to take them to treat her ovarian cysts.
Hang in there! You'll survive these teen years!

Honey you are still young hold your head up and just enjoy being single. Go hanging out with friends do your hair and make up dress really cutie not like a slut. You just might meet someone but even if you don't that is ther lost. There is nothing wrong with you except you are missing love from your family talk to them and tell them you love them and that you don't feel loved. Take care : )

intercourse is created to be an expression of like to 3. confident, without love, its meaningless and additionally much less relaxing in my view. as quickly as intercourse has entered a courting, it creates a deeper bond and that 2d of intimacy frequently brings one close fantastically whilst your concentration is unquestionably captivating the only which you like and not being reluctant to precise on your loved ones member what you pick for to boot. human beings dont examine minds so make certain which you communicate approximately intercourse, what one yet another likes approximately it, so as which you nonetheless substitute into closer and that those moments of sexual intimacy are consistently large!

You are VERY young still. I wouldn't worry too much about all of this. It all works out in years to come...
