Make sure you're emotionally ready for it and not being pressured by anybody (either the person who will be your partner, or your friends). And of course, if you do decide to go ahead, always use protection. Kids nowadays are engaging in sex at too young an age (in my opinion). Many don't think of oral sex as "real" sex, but it can certainly cause STD's, HIV, etc.

So many things.. one could start in about condoms, you could discuss maturity, I would go with 'the art of..', ie- letting all of your senses take over, paying attention to what excites yourself and your partner, and most importantly: foreplay, foreplay, foreplay.

But if you're going to do it, then use a condom even if you think you know where he's been. All the rest is something you will have to discover yourself.

Healthwise - make SURE you use protection/condom. Relax, don't rush or be rushed.

Heartwise - make sure he treats you with respect and not be a d*&k after just because he got what he wanted.

Be careful darlin - I just hope you are old enough & this is what is truely right. There is no going back.

Condoms!!!! and don't expect it to be some fantastic, lights flashing, bell ringing experience like you've probably read about or been told. First time can be quite a bit scary.

Stay relaxed, and be sure to do it with the right guy. It's important. What else, I mean 1st time with anyone, is a bad idea. Let it be special.

Use protection!! No glove; no love. The first time is not too enjoyable, it can and will be painful. Just remember to relax...relaxing is very important.

Safety first, take it slow, try to savor every moment, you will remember it for the rest of your life. Make sure the memory will be a good one for both of you.

Find a partner. Both partners go to the same doctor to get a "health" clearance.
