It was understood that he could see other people, be involved with them, but it couldn't interfere with our life together (which it wasn't for the last 3 months). I am not looking for a lecture, because this is a lifestyle choice, but things are getting too serious between him and his girlfriend. She has kids who are very attached to both him and I, and her and I are friends, but it's getting to the point where he treats us very differently - he will play with her and cuddle with her, and he lays down with her when she says she tired, things like that. I, on the other hand, go to be on my own and he'll go to bed after visiting friends or playing video games hours after I'm asleep. He will hug me only if I ask him to or he thinks he's going to get in trouble for something, but he's always hugging on her, has her sitting on his lap, etc. I was crying last night telling him how hurt I was, and he assured me things would change, but now she's being awful to him for paying attention to me.

I had met this young lady in a party and things were beginning to click with each other. We were kissing, touching, etc. We were planning on meeting another time to see if there was a deeper sexual chemistry. She had asked my age...to which it's 40. She then said that I was too old for her. I then asked her age...she said 24.

It baffled me because things were starting to go well until the age was disclosed. I'm not going to be dishonest and lie about my age to get to any woman (younger or older) but to those of you in their 20's, what is it about guys that are 15+ years your age that is a turnoff?

For that matter, another question, would you want to be with an older guy that would treat you nice or find a guy closer to your age that may have more agility sexually but doesn't treat you the way you want to be..

I need to clear out my mind (or feelings).

I've met this guy through texting (using cellphones) and we already met formally. Uhm... we already dated twice and ever since, he's always been in my mind from the time I wake up 'til I close my eyes (honest!). He already keeps telling me that he really loves me for me. And I think I love him too. Is that possible? We just have known each other for like 3 weeks yet. I know this may sound a little too soon, but we already kissed (and he's my first kiss), and I felt a spark from that kiss actually. I think I'm addicted to him now. He's not good-looking, for sure, but God! He's really caring and understanding, and oh my gosh! I'm in love with his voice especially when we talk on the phone... And his being there for me through ups & downs. He jokes around, but he's serious when he needs to (like when I have problems). He's always willing to listen. He always open his door for me. I just can't stop thinking about him. Do you think I got it bad?

and went to his friends house without you for a party? My wife of 18 years ran off with a lowlife guy about 4 years ago. This past summer I divorced her and she is still with him. I got everything including 70% of joint custody of our 13 year old daughter. We do keep in contact on a friendly level and have no ex drama. The problem is I still love her deep down in my heart and hope that someday she will still bring her senses around and realize she left a good husband. Should I totally move on as I have or just see what happens as far as her love ever returning for me. Trust me she is not anymore happier or in a better home or relationship than she was with me.

My situation is this. I had a recent boyfriend and eventually we broke up. He says that those words are extremely abused. Once in awhile I think I can see it in his actions, but for the most part I don't know any better if he does. Let me know, should I stay or should I go? I am looking for the rest of my life and I think a year is a pretty good length of time to know whether or not he will or will not commit to me. ok, 10 days ago my bf broke up with me, i actually have been feeling very sad forthe loss of him and also because i feel guilty that it didnt work out, i think i demanded too much and dindt give much myself. anyway today (xmas day in OZ) i sent him an sms wishing him a merry xmas and he replied asking how i wasdoing, i asked him if he wanted to talk on the phone and he called me, we were talking normally but then i started to say that i miss him and that i would tryto make it btter if he came back, that we could negotiate thing so we are both happy, he says he needs to think about it, i asked him to see him so we are going out tomorrow for lunch, i also asked him if he doenst have any feeling for me anymore, he said" i never said that, no". so i dont know, i will go tomorrow definitely but i dont want to create my self great expectations, what do you think?

two brothers, two sisters. My main reference for this question comes from watching The Family Stone. Ben and Everret are brothers while Meredith and Julie are sisters. Julie and Everett soon date as do Ben and Meredith. If these two couples were to be married, would Ben be under the title of "brother-in-law" to Everret even though the two are already siblings?

Whenever I'm around average looking guys, I'm perfectly normal. I know how to talk and make people laugh. But whenever I'm around very good looking guys, I don't know how to talk. So, I just shut up and sit there or maybe just go and disapear from whereever I see attractive looking guys.

I don't know how to stop this fear. I don't want to be with a guy who I feel comfortable because his average looking. Can you guys tell me how to stop this fear?

Going through a divorce - separated from my wife who cheated on then left me this summer.

Tonight she has the girls on Christmas Eve. I'm alone... without them for the first time ever and it's f'ing with me more than I thought it would. Hearing my youngest daughters voice on the phone tonight practically did me in.

How do other Fathers out there cope with this? It hurts like crazy that I can't kiss thier heads and tuck them in and be a family.

Doe it ever get easier or can I look forward to this every year?

I fell out with him because my furnace went out and the kids and I were very cold he told me he would come over and fix it in about an hour he never showed up. I called my mom so she could ask him to come over like four hours later he told her that he got his own **** to take care of and he hung the phone up on her. Now first he never called me on my b-day and whenever i call him he never answers the phone so i got really mad and i thru a brick thru his window then I got a call from him I told him to go **** himself. He was moving that week any way and the landlord didnt give a **** but any way this was in October and I have left him messages and tried calling a number of times it is Christmas time and my kids want to see him what should I do?
