I had met this young lady in a party and things were beginning to click with each other. We were kissing, touching, etc. We were planning on meeting another time to see if there was a deeper sexual chemistry. She had asked my age...to which it's 40. She then said that I was too old for her. I then asked her age...she said 24.

It baffled me because things were starting to go well until the age was disclosed. I'm not going to be dishonest and lie about my age to get to any woman (younger or older) but to those of you in their 20's, what is it about guys that are 15+ years your age that is a turnoff?

For that matter, another question, would you want to be with an older guy that would treat you nice or find a guy closer to your age that may have more agility sexually but doesn't treat you the way you want to be..

maybe she just did not want to be with someone old enough to be her father.

Well, maybe she was worried about the age difference because she was thinking about the future? Having kids ect. She may just be one of those superficial ppl that get turned off the guy being in their 40s? Maybe she was worried about what her family would think? There are many possibilities. Personally i being in early 20's would go for someone up to about 35. Old enough to hopefully have groen up but young enough to see a futre with.

I can honestly say that I like guys older than me. (My ex husband is 42) I am 29 and I refuse to date guys that are close to my age (have to be older than 35-40), because we live different life styles. I work full time and have 3 kids, I'm not really into the party scene anymore. I want a guy who will come home, let his woman take care of him and him take care of me. Older guys are like that. They still know how to have fun, but its not what they live for.

Be patient, you'll find the one your looking for.
Good Luck

we younger women like older men but some love the younger. You meant not be into the older man. Just talk to her and ask her why did things change when I told you my age??

I like older men; I married one 10 years older. I think older men have their life together and are more committed to a relationship. Good luck to you

Hey! Im not yet in my 20s but I think women also looks in the outer apperance. But only a smaller percent in the inner. They like guys who are matured but not over matured. If your looking for a partner, you should pray for it hard. This is not just a game. Your life and emotions is at stake. Pray for it. rely on God for answers. God Bless YOu!!
