If your future husband said he will only buy a used wedding ring what would you do ,

If it's a family ring or an antique, it should be fine.
The Bride should be happy with the ring.If your hubby to be is this difficult to deal with now, what will happen down the road ??

That is a pretty hard question to answer... Every girl wants their very own wedding ring and to know that it's a used wedding ring defeats the purpose of YOURS and HIS marriage together as one (symbolized by the ring). But, at the same time a girl should appreciate whatever wedding ring her husband gives her, because the ring is coming from HIM and his heart... I don't know, that's pretty hard... I personally would be kinda disappointed just because he didn't get me OUR very own wedding ring...

I would be disappointed.
If you are superstitious then maybe a 'used' ring may have bad Karma ..etc.
But what about an heirloom, from a grandmother, that would be "used" right.
And the first answer l about having parents pitch in.. uh NO!
Is the reason he wants to get a used ring is because he thinks it will be less expensive? Then find out the budget and work within it to pick out a new ring.

A used wedding ring?oh no, a perfct wdding is alwys about "new"!
But,honey..i think it's okay (a used wedding ring)..
I know that must be urs, or maybe u can talking again with him about this case..But i want make u remember that the 1st think about the mariage, is ur (u & ur future husband)pure love!!And so hard to keep that!
2nd, is maybe ur future husband not just think about "ring", not just about "party", not just about "cake"..but he looking the purpose of mariage!He just want to see u in his side 4ever,have a much child,being old 2gthr and i think that's ur purpose too.

Depending on the ring itself, it may be it's a very expensive ring with a much larger higher quality diamond(s) in the setting. And definately lower priced than what he would have to pay for a smaller diamond ring with lower quality diamonds.
I buy used diamond rings and loose diamonds for a fraction of what i'd pay for brand new. I take the stones from the used rings and have them set in brand new settings and then sell or trade for other diamonds.
I turn a profit of about 200 thousand dollars a year tax free, with this part time hobby.

Well, I hope he would not buy a used wedding ring. If he can not afford the ring, he should ask his parents to pich in for the ring. Any how, I think my fiance and I would look at ring stores together and get a similar style.
