two brothers, two sisters. My main reference for this question comes from watching The Family Stone. Ben and Everret are brothers while Meredith and Julie are sisters. Julie and Everett soon date as do Ben and Meredith. If these two couples were to be married, would Ben be under the title of "brother-in-law" to Everret even though the two are already siblings?

It is flawlessly suited for 2 brothers to marry 2 sisters. You aren't associated through blood, so there is no quandary. In the course of the late 1800's and early 1900's when communities have been very small and humans traveled little, your obstacle used to be very normal. People came from significant families with 10 or 12 kids. They only noticed a few different families, and truthfully their options have been limited for the reason that they lived in smaller cities. You can also want to discuss this together with your brother and sister and law. The only situation that may arise is should you had a quandary for your relationship it could make seeing her at a loved ones operate in a while a difficult or awkward time. I desire you the high-quality of good fortune.

My Brother and I have married sisters. (Not our own sisters)
19 years for them, 17 years for my wife and I.
I met her at their wedding. Never looked back.

No, because he's still your brother.

There have been brothers who have married sisters in the past before.
