My best friend has been complaining about her husband's abuse for more htan two years. He does not hit her but verbally abuses her and does not do anything for her. He does not pay bills, buy food or do anything except pay the rent. He recently got a big payoff from his company and he didnt even tell her about it - she has no idea what he did with the money.
Unfortunately, she constantly complains while refusing to move on, though it is quite clear that he has all but moved on from her. As her friend, I'm upset that she is still with him, while swallowing tons of pills for depression. They have two kids. I've run out of advice to give her. What else can I do?

Me and my ex have been doing really good lately it's like we never even broke up.We been together 6 years we have been apart for about 6 months. At first I had a hard time accepting the break up then as time went on i accepted it.When i did that and starting thinking positive he started coming around more and now i can't get rid of him, we have been having fun together having long conversations on the phone again he invited me to his friends party and his family Christmas dinner.I told him i was moving soon he said well don't decorate it too girly because i might move in with you.I do want him to but he said he still hasn't made his mind up about us getting back together right now.He is still around me,he calls me everyday things are getting back to how our relationship was, i asked him why doesn't he want to committ to me again he said it was nothing wrong with me and he doesn't have any problems with me and next year he wants things to be perfect for us and he brought up marriage?

Is there a way to know before you date a chick if her nipples will resemble tomatoe slices? I like them in my salad but not on my boobs.

Girls.

Lets say the guy you've been dating recently reveals he's still a virgin. Would you find this actually commendable and something you could have fun with, or a nuisance, obviously because he's going to be lackluster due to inexperience.

I'm not stating whether virginity is a good or bad thing, what im referring to is your personal expression and assessment of this would be lover.

Thank you in advance.

My boyfriend and I have an on-again-off-again relationship.Which I know is very dysfunctional. A couple of months ago after a huge fight he told his parents we broke up. We got back together a week later and he hasn't told them we got back together. When I asked why he said it's because his family is different from mine. My family knows of our fights but they still talk to him all the time. Do you see something wrong with this picture?

We've been going out for almost 5 years. My boyfriend is 3 years younger than me (he's 26) and I am ready to get engaged and get married now but he won't propose! We've talked about getting married and I think he wants it to happen but I feel like time is ticking and nothing is moving on for us. We live together and have done so for about 2 years now. Can I bug him about it and push him into it or is this a bad move?

Do you still need time to "grieve" the loss of the marriage before you move on? If you do not take that time and jump into a relationship (even before you separate) will your new relationship have a chance? What do you do with all the baggage?

Hope you can help with this!!

I saw this guy for a couple of months. We texted each other all the time and got on really well but it was only fairly casual because we were both newly single. However we were only seeing and sleeping with one another.

He confided in me about things in his past and we could talk about anything. However I think he may have regretted being so open as he was a little distant after that. He has a lot of baggage but nothing phases me and he knew that. We didn't meet as regularly but then he suddenly severed all contact two weeks ago.

I know he hasn't lost his phone and nothing has happened to him, so he obviously just didn't want to see me any more. I feel a bit used but am more offended as we had a good friendship if nothing else. Anyway, I know I'll see him out over Christmas & I'll be dressed to kill!

Should I just ignore him or should I give him the time of day if he approaches me? I WON'T be sleeping with him again by the way!

I raised them alone for the most part. I always give nice gifts and Christmas; I remember their birthdays. Most of the time at Chistmas, they give me nothing. One says, "We spent on the kids this year (their kids)". The other one says, "Sorry Mom, I didn't get you nothing." I live paycheck to paycheck too, but I always manage to remember them. The one only calls to raise hell about how miserable his life is; and the other one never calls at all. I take their kids to watch one Saturday overnight a month. Other than for my grandchildren, they would have nothing or little to do with me. I am truly brokenhearted. I have debated on whether just to write them off by treating them the same way, for example at Christmas time. I thought because I worked so hard to raise them and teach them respect for others, that they would grow up to make me proud. I am disgusted with both of them.
Anyone have any suggestions?

so 5 years ago I meet the most lovely man - we get on so well, +everything is great but he's from the other side of the world.Unexpectedly he decides to leave, but we stay in touch on a sporadic basis +2 years later when I'm over his side of the world we get together again - my visa is about to run out but again it was so good I thought we'd be able to work something out.But he got involved with a girl down the road instead - it was "easier" that way.Still we stayed in touch on a sometimes regular, sometimes not so regular (depending on whether we were single or not) basis+ this year decided to give it another try & met up again. He reckoned that he had always liked me a lot, but he'd got scared - scared of getting hurt, scared of the distance.Once again-met up-amazing.But since then hes totally put up a shield. He still seems to like speaking to me +sent me bday card, but he never phones & when I ask he doesnt know what he wants.Any ideas about what might be going on?I'm confused!!

Both of them are in love with me, my bf doesn't know about my dilemma, guy friend knows I have a bf. I didn't cheat on my bf, but I'm VERY tempted to do it, but I really don't want to cheat!!!!Meanwhile guy friend left home 4 Christmas, and I'm with my boyfriend thinking about him =/ . Please help.

Okay, my grandmother passed away on dec. 20, 2000. It was incerdably difficult, since she half raised me. She was in every since on the word- my best friend.
Yet, since she has passed on, I do not look at that date with much meaning, because yes, she did die on that date, but the things I mourn are that of missing her and certain traditions we had, and spending time with her.
So that date, is really meaningless to me. That is when she dies, and not a date I care to dwell on. But my FATHER on the other hand, calls everyone on that date, (yesterday!)
and proceeds to say this is the day she died, do you remember? Oh I miss my mom, and goes on and on.
I know he had hurt, as did alot of us. But I just find it crude to call everyone just to remind them that she died, today, 6 years ago, and You will never get over it.
Is this just his sadness? And what can I say to him to break this "morbid" tradition he has started?
