My daughter, who is nearly 16, goes to a private, Catholic school here in our city. And I really hate even mentioning this but for some reason, she thinks she is gorgeous and she is not. She is very ordinary looking and I don't know where she has gotten this from but she has gained a very B*tchy attitude towards everyone. But everytime she sees a pretty girl, in the mall, church, wherever.. she goes crazy, has fits and stuff. And she is wondering why no boys ever speak to her. How can I tell her it's because she ISN'T pretty without crushing her?

when she came in my life everything was amazing, for once i was finaly happy. we had the most amazing thing ever. wenever we werent with eachother we wuld spend the night on the fone together. shes the most amazing person ive ever met and i cant let her go. its so easy for people to say "just move on" "theres other fish in the sea" "thats life" but that doesnt work for me cus she is my life. when she came into my life she became my life. i cant just forget about her and move on. shes the only girl i want to be with. i dont think anyone can undertanad how much i care about her. she broke up with me for one stupid mistake by anoying her and asking her the same question to many times. but thats not enough to just ruin what we had. i dont understand why anyone would throw away something so special, and i cant. honestly i need her in my life, and if youve never been completely in love you wont understand at all. you know your in love when you would do anything for that person.what can i do?

I am getting married next year, and my cat has my last name now(for visits to vet, etc.) ... I'm wondering if I should change his last name when I change mine too ... I hope it wouldn't upset him ... if only he could speak for himself. I just don't want to offend him.

and as soon as you saw a picture of them and they weren't what you were expecting did you start to treat them differently?

I know someone that this happened too! Why is it that people have to judge other people by their looks? They say that beauty is only skin deep and yes I know the rest of the saying... ugly is to the bone, but people (men and women both) have no control over how their face is going to look! unless they have plastic surgery and why should it have to come down to plastic surgery to be excepted by others?

My friend is a brilliant girl, but now she's quitting college because her ex-bf threatened to expose their private pictures on the internet if she doesn't get back to him. I know the bf is a big *** jerk who only knows how to take advantage on poor innocent girls. Her parents knew all about it and have asked her to stop college and find a job instead. Im going to break up with the weak POS on Christmas, after I get my gifts of course.. I was thinking of wrapping a box and putting a pair of clothes with a note saying "we're broken up, your homeless" and then have her on her way. There's someone who is constantly stressed out saying they have so much to do and no time to do it. I offer to help on a daily basis, and this person never takes me up on it. For example, last night I offered to go to the store if they wrote down what they needed...they declined the offer. This morning they were complaining they had to go to the store before work. I call this the "poor me" syndrome. I feel like they refuse the help because what they really want is someone to be sympathetic toward them. Or they want to do it all themself just so they can say they did it without any help, yet are constantly miserable and complaining. Do you know why someone would act like this??? Is there a psychology term for this behavior??

has anyone ever had a dream that felt so real that they thought it was actually happening but could not wake themselves up...i had this awful dream last night and when i woke was extremely upset but relieved that it was not really happening, i still feel upset even though i have been awake for a few hours, i can't shake it off...it felt like it was real life, and it was very scarey...has anyone else ever experienced this....serious answers only please, still feeling a little delicate

I am 30 years old. I'm married, and I have a beautiful 9 year old, a 17 month old, and a husband. I have a good job, a nice house, and a good life.
Several years back, I was still the girl with the pink hair at raves twirling glowsticks and partying the night away. I've grown up a lot since then.
So why is it that sometimes I feel depressed and think I never have as much fun as I used to? What's wrong with me? I know I was living a lifestyle I needed to grow out of, but sometimes I miss the old days... I'm too old to be feeling this way... and too young to be going through a midlife crisis.

my long distance gf broke up with me about a month ago. since then iv been trying to get her back. we broke up because i anoyed her about something i kept asking her but i dont want what we had to end because of sumthing so stupid, it happend so fast. i love her with all i got and we were meant for eachother. she hasnt realy been talking to me and she wont arrange a time to see eachother. i think she started likeing this other guy but then stopped so i dont realy know. all i know is i need her. so i asked her friend to bring her to the mall and tell her she wants to meet this guy and ill be there and give her her chritsmas present and hug her and not let go. hopfully a miracle will happen and shell realize she misses me. but this mall event isnt hapenin until the wednesday after christmas. so until then should i just be patient and not try to talk to her or say anything to her? its just real hard to be patient while your in love with someone. what should i do?
