You can tell by the way he treats you, the way he talks to you, and most importantly the way he looks at you. Age has nothing to do with it, that never changes. You can always just wait for him to tell you, but don't ask him because then you'll put him in a tight spot and make him uncomfortable. He'll say it when he's ready.

First symptom-- He wont look @ you straight, but will caste sidelong glances at you.His hands will shake imperceptibly, and he will appear nervous without any apparent reason. All the best child, seven years difference is just perfect.
