My friend is a brilliant girl, but now she's quitting college because her ex-bf threatened to expose their private pictures on the internet if she doesn't get back to him. I know the bf is a big *** jerk who only knows how to take advantage on poor innocent girls. Her parents knew all about it and have asked her to stop college and find a job instead. My problem is, how do i convince her to stay while i really don't know what else to say and i know that her future is at stake.

How'd he end up with the pictures? Bad move. But I'd still call his bluff. They're only pictures. She, and everybody else, will get over it in time. Her future cannot be wasted on this *sshole. OR, she could try getting legal advice. Blackmail of anykind is illegal.

In this kind of matter, I will blame both of them. Why? First, that friend of yours is quite shallow to allow her ex to take persoal images of her. And second, it's frivilous for her ex to do such an unmoral thing as well because, I'll say, "Get a LIFE dude! What's broken cannot be mended as perfectly as they were used to be!"

BUT, it's all said and done and there's no way to turn back time. All I'm saying is, she should give her parents time to clear things over the hush-hush. It's such a hasty move to just kick out her daughter like that when she's a star in her studies. And a message to your fiend, be tough girl, nothing is easy in this world AND!! TRUST NO ONE!

I wish only the best for your friend.

Why the hell is she quitting school over some pictures? I don't see how that will change anything. Her parents must be stupid. Her ex must be stupid too if he's serious about it. Blackmail is illegal. He's probaly just messing with her so that she'll get back with him.

she should go to the cops because anyone who tries to blackmail will only escalate the threat each time she tries to leave.
